A man who who can give me reassurance and consistency, a man who's gonna listen to me
Baby, I need you to listen to me
I'd given so much of myself, I'm truly tired now
I know it's a man who can treat me like the woman I am, that I aspire to be and won't control me,
My future man, would make me feel less tied down
So as I said, I'm tired now
I imagine being in your presence, staring at your smooth, dark skin and listening to you talk
I want to know about your job, your day and the things that make you happy, I want to know you as you are present
I can't even be selective with you, because now I've been thinking about the things that I want to have with you
Sometimes I want my feet in your lap and my head on your chest
Sometimes I want to stand in a room alone and look at you in your eyes
Even those strong arms look good wrapped around my thighs
I see a world with just me and you, you and I, us, we
What we have will be so special
What we have will be a covenant of love
What we have will be a partnership, you'll be the number one yet the only one on my team
I gotta say ... you are truly the man of my dreams
I want to manifest those characteristics that I need for myself but of being your wife, but first I want to be your friend, me your lady, I want to be your only fan
Your only one too
Oh the places my mind goes by the thought you
Thinking of you ... being my man, be my man
