"Everything repeated, day after day. We need to break this cycle. I see them die every day. You do too. We've both grown numb."
A monotonous voice echos out.

"It's too late. We can't. How would we?"
The reply was automatic, you don't even know who they are. "We've forgotten who they are, we've been taken away from our true hearts." Your voice sound like something else, not human. A small dizzying noise following every word. It hurts to think.
"You always we're one to give up easy, at least look at me when I speak." So you do, eyes trailing up a skinny husk, your eyes meet with the ones that used to be so reflective. Now full and lifeless, but something remains, the small fade from sapphire stones to a deep sea green, a small bit of whatever love for you can still be seen.

It's dying quickly. The pale skin of the man who you own the heart of. You know you'll never see those dimples again, or the years when his ashen hair would meet with his eyes.
"I think I know how to free us." Your voice even surprised yourself. "Your golden heart is weighing you down, we both know one of us must die." Years breach you eyes, the sting assaulting your clear crimson eyes.

"..." Deathly silence cuts deeper in past your, darkly tanned skin. Your heart breaks each day. "There's another way! T-there ha-as to... May- i-" As sob cut off your past love. "We both made the bond, Emile, what was it again? 'the day will come soon, two hearts crossed threw the stars will be crushed by the outbreak. They will loose there family unless the vow is made. Merge our hearts Saint Etienne, let one perish for the rest of our love, let us not escape this faith. Even if our last day need replacement for eternity until our vow is complete. I a demon..."

"An-d I a-a lowly server" Emile hesitated, was it from tears or..? "We wi-ll wish, to you.. sen-d my lo-ve home.. for our fam-ilys.."

"Emile, you have to, we can't lie to the gods devoted servers." He's heart is broken.. you know it's a necsesity. And with that, Emiles bow pointed to you, an arrow peered your heart. Neither of you thought that this day would come, but it came far too soon. Silent tears fall. His smile will never return, so was it even worth the cost? What a dire last thought. Your last breath... Was it a waste? Will he be okay? Will, no, could he even recover from this? Who are you kidding? He won't last a day... And he won't make his second Life, well as a demon... He'll surly sprout wings to fly free... He will never get to meet you on the crimson flames, you will both loose this battle.

At least they're safe, the plague is not a kind creature.
