mandla and hayden were just causally walking around the beach when suddenly mandla nods at someone at a dj booth and everyone freezes for a second at the beginning of the song and when the person singing starts to sing they break out into a literal flashmob and mandla joins in. hayden at this point is very confused but proceeds to join in anyways. when the music stops mandla walks over to hayden and says "sorry i'm extra but wanna go to prom?". hayden of course says yes and runs into his arms in slow motion.

at this point prom was in two days and nobody had asked her. she was really hoping finn would but he hasn't. she was sulking at the beach. there were people dancing there and she didn't really know why. but that just dampened her mood even more. she suddenly heard footsteps so she turned around seeing the person she wanted to see all week. she jumped up and tried to act cool when in her head she was like "omg omg finn omg omg". so yes finn was there holding too many roses in his hand. he looked a little worn out and nervous. when he finally started talking all that came out was "i'm sorry that i haven't asked you yet i've been trying to think of ways to go over the top but i couldn't think of any and now i'm here two days before prom asking the most beautiful girl in the worst way". brynn smiled the biggest smile and said "i'd love to go to prom with you finn" she walked closer to him and kissed him. finn was shocked but he kissed back almost immediately.
