Epilogue

*Two years later*

Yamaguchi walked into his room, well, his and Tsukishima's room and laid next to the sleeping boy on their bed. Tsukishima grunted and rolled over, placing his arm around Yamaguchi's chest and snuggling his head into the other boy's shoulder, falling into a deeper sleep.

"Tsukki, we have to get up" Yamaguchi replied, "it's moving day"

Tsukishima didn't seem to like the idea of getting up right now, as he pulled his boyfriend in closer and wrapped his legs around Yamaguchi's legs trapping him under the covers, and in his boyfriends arms.

"Come on, we had to get up early for graduation yesterday, and everything is already all packed, we just have to load it and go. Just a little while longer. Please?" Tsukishima pleaded. Yamaguchi reluctuntalcty agreed before falling back asleep himself, feeling as safe as ever in his boyfriends arms.

Ever since that night in the club room, the night that Yamaguchi's identity was revealed to Tsukishima, the pair had become inseperable. Of course they had issues to work out, mostly Tsukishima getting used to Yamaguchi being the boy from the letters, but soon enough they had it figured out.

Tsukishima's mother was sent away to jail after putting her son in the hospital for the second time in a month, and the Yamaguchi family took the responsibility of caring for the blonde boy. Of course it wasn't any trouble, considering that they took notice of how happy he made their son.

They completed high school as a couple, mostly keeping their relationship lowkey, not wanting to share the more intimate part of their relationshop with their friends and teammates at school.

Together, they went to nationals three times, winning the whole competition in their second year of high school. Unfortunately, their third year was cut short in the semi-finals of nationals; a loss to Nekoma High School. While the team was upset about it, they moved on rather quickly, because after all, the Battle at the Garbage Dump was their dream, and Nekoma ended up moving on to win Nationals.

As for their home life, the boys spent a simple and happy life in the Yamaguchi house, with Tsukishima's brother visiting quite often, as soon after their mother was sent to jail, the two brother rekindled their relationship and made a promise to each other that no matter what happened in the future, they would never let themselves grow apart over something like that ever again.

They shared hundreds, maybe even thousands more of their sweet kisses, and even more fast, desperate kisses they shared for the very first time in the club room.

Yamaguchi took care of Tsukishima, and Tsukishima took care of Yamaguchi. That was just the nature of their relationship. They gave in 100% of their love and care into eachother and proved to the other that they loved eachother and that they wanted to be together forever.

In the latter half of their third year, the boys decided that after graduation, they were going to move in together, out of their home with the Yamaguchi family, into a small apartment together in Tokyo, where Tsukishima would join the professional volleyball team, and Yamaguchi would go to college nearby to support them while Tsukishima was beginning his professional volleyball journey.

As for their friends, Kageyama, Hinata, and Yachi, were all also moving to Tokyo as Kageyama was also continuing volleyball outside of high school, and they happened to be moving into a slightly bigger apartment just down the street from Yamaguchi and Tsukishima.

They all promised to see each other frequently after high school, especially since they were going to be so close to eachother. Over the years, they grew extmley close to eachother, through long practices every day, eating lunch together, and hanging out even outside of school after seeing eachother all day long. Their bond was not something you could break.

Both boys were at a point in their life where they were happier than they had ever been in their lives. They had suffered enough when they were younger and didn't have each other to love, and to comfort. When they were together, they brought out the absolute best in eachother. They made eachother smile, and laugh, so hard to the point where they would cry. They especially loved just sitting in silence, in eachother's company.

They really loved eachother.

*Later that day*

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi had finally settled into their new apartment, boxes everywhere, but atleast their bedroom was set up as they were both exhausted.

Yamaguchi walked in to the bedroom and noticed Tsukki staring out the bay window.

Yamaguchi snuck up behind his boyfriend, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind, snuggling his head into Tsukishima's neck. Tsukishima tunred around and stared into the smaller boys eyes, slowly placing his lips on Yamaguchi's forehead and wrapping his own arms around Yamaguchi's neck, pulling him closer.

"Im so excited to spend the rest of our lives together, Yamaguchi"
