Getting ready for school

Midoriya [POV]

I groaned as I sat up slowly, my head was spinning and sharp pains pounded behind my eyes.  I let out a small sigh of discomfort rubbing my eyes.  I didn't even have a chance to check what time it was before I felt Shoto stir from next to me.  I looked over in time to see his eyes flutter open.  He looked up at me for a few seconds before his lips stretched in a small smile.

"Good morning" He greeted his voice hoarse from lack of use.

"Good morning" I muttered my voice breaking in places, I winced shutting my eyes waiting- actually more of hoping that the pain would subside soon.

"What's wrong?" Shoto asked his voice laced with concern and worry.  He sat up the bed shifting slightly as he did so.

"Nothing- It's fine I just have a small headache" I responded

"Oh, do you want to stay and sleep it off?" he suggested pulling me into a soft embrace his arms circling protectively around my thin form.

"I'll be fine don't worry and we have to go to class today, we've skipped way to much class" I insisted burying my face into the crook of his neck wrapping my arms around his torso.

"Are you sure, I'm sure that you'll feel better if you sleep for a bit longer" he gently ran his fingers through my hair reassuringly.

"Don't worry Shoto I'll be fine, I don't need to" I told him firmly my voice slightly muffled by his shoulder.

"What time is it?" He asked changing the subject

"I'm not sure, I didn't look" I responded sitting up straight looking him in the eyes.  He broke into another small smile pressing his lips to mine.  I kissed back closing my eyes again.  When he pulled away I immediately missed his lips over mine.  He shifted slightly looking over my shoulder to the clock on his nightstand.

"We don't have to get ready yet.  We can still sleep" He sighed heavily "Why did you even get up?"

"What?  What time is it?" I asked

"It's almost five in the morning, let's go back to sleep" Shoto laid down pulling me down next to him.  He wrapped his arms around my lower back making sure that I stayed close to him.  I hummed with satisfaction letting my eyelids droop closed.  He rubbed small circles into my back.  The next time I woke up it was to the sun peeking through the mostly closed curtains.  I rolled over making sure not to accidentally wake Shoto as I checked the clock.  It was almost 7, now we had to get up and get ready for school.  I sighed thankful that my headache had faded.  It wasn't completely gone but it was hard enough to notice that I could ignore it.  I pressed a small kiss to Shoto's forehead.  His eyes fluttered open again. 

"Hi is it time to get up now?" he asked playfully

"Yeah time to get ready for school" I responded

"How's your head?" He sat up pressing his lips to my cheek

"It's better, you were right a little sleep helped" I responded smiling at him.

"Perfect, wonderful, let's get ready for school" He stretched his arms above his head.  There was a slight pop as he cracked his back.  I threw the sheets to the side and stood up. 

"I'll meet you in the commons room I have to change into my school uniform" I told him

"Okay, I love you" He blew me a kiss as I went to leave.  I smiled as I shut the door behind myself as I made my way to my dorm room.  I got changed into my school uniform a small sigh escaping my lips as a small pain in my stomach pulled me out of my thoughts.

"This is okay, I can get by" I thought to myself as I trudged down the hallway my bag slung over my shoulder.  I found Shoto waiting for me by the door.

"Shoto" I greeted with a smile

"Hi ready to go?" he asked kissing me on the top of the head snaking one arm around my lower back.

"Yeah, it's been way to long since we've shown up to class.  Aizawa will probably be mad at us" I laughed awkwardly.

"Probably but that's fine" he shrugged as we made our way to class

"Are you not going to eat?" I questioned

"I already told you what my answer is" he responded stubbornly, I sighed

"Yeah, fine let's just get to class" I shook my head slowly.  When we got to class we were kind of surprised to find that Aizawa was already in class.  As we figured, we both got a large earful from him for skipping out on so much class but he wanted to make sure that we were fine as well.  I felt a knot start to form in the pit of my stomach as I started to think more about the end of the day and how everything would go when we told everyone.  I sighed settling down in my seat after a long lecture just as the first bell rung signaling that people should start to get to class.  I tried to ignore the pain in my abdomen as Aizawa started class.
