Layla POV//
There it is again-the electric shocks going through my body. My screeches fill the air, the only other sounds accompanying it were my heavy breathing and the sizzle of electricity. Pain. It's all my brain can comprehend at the moment.
I gasp for breath, hot tears running down my, now damp with tears, cheeks. I tightly close my eyes, praying it be over soon. This is about the third time this week he's done this certain punishment. I'm rather lucky.
I feel myself black out. The sounds of the room fading fast.
~Le time skip~
My eyes flutter open to the mixes if gray, white, and black. Like always. I get up, feeling weight on my wrists. 'The shackles again?' I ask myself and look down. Sure enough there they were, there with their long chains dragging behind me, making it easier for father or his assistants to catch me if I were to run away. Like I would. Heh. Yes I had tried to run away in the past, but clearly figured out that, that wouldn't work out.
I had my privacy for now at least. I was in my nearly empty room, the only things filling it were to be a bookshelf, with books of course. Along with a wardrobe, a bed, and a mirror.
I walk up to the mirror and stare at myself. If I wasn't used to what I saw I'd be shocked, there on my neck, were dark splotches. Bruises to be exact. (Don't you dare think dirty you sinners.) I assumed I'd maybe been conscious for a couple of minutes, enough to fight back. I then told myself that he must've grabbed my neck and choked me till I passed out again.
Sure sounds like him!
I turn and grab a random book from the shelf and curl up on my bed, beginning to read it.

AHHAHAHA! First chapter is here! I might write a few chapters since I'm at my very sick pawpaw's house with no WiFi, meaning I'm bored. So I'm thinking that 'the' experiment should come up either next chapter or the next. I'm still new here on Wattpad so please don't send hate and maybe y'all could give me some tips on writing.
