*Maria's Pov*

The day my parents died was the strangest, for it was the same day I met the man of my dreams and my future husband.

It was a warm August the 7 1998, in England it was reall pretty.

I was 4, I was wearing a blue t-shirt with purple flower patterns here and there. I had jean shorts on and white sandals.

My hair was in small caramel ringlets, that I somehow disliked. My hair got knotted easily and was really hard to brush. I had that childish little girl face with chubby cheeks.

As a little girl, I was tall and thin. But as I got older, my body grew everywhere, by the age of 15, I noticed my body was to developed for my taste.

My parents and I had recently moved to England, and we were in Yorkshire to visit as a mini vacation. We had a hotel and were here for a week after that we would go all around England for fun.

I should have enjoyed it, but most of the time I was hungry and my feet hurt.

We had planed to go to a famous ice cream store and have lots of ice cream, well I would have lots of ice cream.

I saw something that caught my attention.

I was a bush of red roses, in the middle of a park, beside was a bench that looked very lonely.

I gasped at the beautiful and squeal with glee, like a little girl would. My parents looked at me smiling, with my dad driving, he looked at me from the rear view mirror.

He continued glancing at my happy face and then to my mom, who watched my happy face admire the sight.

It was honestly stupid.

Because the next thing I knew, both of my parents where watching me.

They were the best parents who always watched their children. They payed attention to everything I did and cared so much. They were so nice and have me breakfast in bed. They bought me all the toys I wanted and bought me anything with Disney. My favorite princess was Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

They were to perfect.

And that perfect had a fault and each happiness and perfection has to have a dark side.

This was a moment in time that I would never forget and would always haunt me.

As they watched me, no one saw the drunk driver speeding toward us.

No one saw the car from the corner.

Everyone saw him smash against our car.

My parents saw the car before it hit us. They looked at each other before me. They smiled warmly and said something that I would keep close to my heart forever.
