Do you believe that Life is difficult?
-You can only have a strong relationship if you have the right relationship of your spiritual family.
Three reasons why we need spiritual family:
1. We are created for connection.
2. Connection balances our life.
3. Connection increases our strength.
Satan will attack you if you are alone. So you need spiritual family for you to guide in the truth.
Why you need the church?
Ephesians 1:23
-Are you part of the church/body?
-You need to be a part of the church.
-Everything in this world will be gone, but there is only one thing that will remain in this world, it is the body of Christ----the Church.
Romans 12:5
-Christ makes us one body and connected to each other.
When I decided to belong to a church family:
1. It connects me to God's eternal temple.
1 Corinthians 3:16
- You are a temple of God and the Spirit of God lives in you.
Ephesians 2:21

Ephesians 2:22
- You are the dwelling place of God.
Building:
1. You can't build with one part.
- So we need each other so that we can build a building ---- a strong relationship.
2. All parts must fit together.
- If you are not connected to the church, what is your purpose then?
- Fit your lives to the ministry that you have so that you may not be useless.
3. A part is useless until its connected.
4. You can be in the house and not part of the house.
- You can be on the church but doesn't have a function.
- So you must be a functioner or a member of the church.
- Go to church that you may have a part on it.
Why God chooses the building to be an example to us?
- Because the building is connected to each other and has its purpose.
1 Timothy 3:15
- The church is the pillar and the foundation of the truth.
Benefits of being connected to the church:
1. I get support and stability.
- You can get the support, strength and stability by not being alone but by having spiritual family or having a small groups.
2. It connects me to Christ's body.
Ephesians 1:22-23
- When your head is in Jesus Christ all things are given unto you.
Ephesians 4:25
- You can't lie in the body of Christ. Because we are connected to each other and in Christ.
-Tell your neighbor the truth. Because when you lie, you end up lying to yourself.
Romans 12:4-5
- We need each other because we have different works to do. So we belong to each other.
- God made us unique.
- We all have different parts to play.
- And when we play our parts we can create a harmony.
*Prominent but not significant.
Ex.: Hair or hand?
-hair is insignificant but hand is prominent.
- hair can be okay not to have but hands is important because it helps us to work.
Colossians 2:19
- Jesus is the one who nourishes everything that is connected. And when you have Christ and is connected to the body, you grows.
3. I get life and growth.
John 15:5
- If you are connected/abide to Jesus Christ you will bear good fruit.
John 15:4
- Live in Jesus Christ so that you will bear fruit because if you are not connected you will not bear fruits.
Galatians 5:22-23
- Fruit of the Holy Spirit:
*Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-control.
- and these fruits are all Relational so that we may spread it to the church and to the others.
4. It connects me to God's family.
- A christian who is not connected to the church is an orphan.
Romans 8:16
- We are God's children when the Holy Spirit joins our spirit.
Priorities:
1. Love the members of the church.
- 1 Peter 2:17
*Show respect, Love the brothers and sisters, Respect God and Honor the King.
- Colossians 3:14
*Clothe yourself in Love.
*Love is what holds you all together in perfect unity.
2 Corinthians 8:5
- Give yourself to the Lord so that you will love the people around you.
*Commitment to Christ is commitment to the church.
*God did not bring you here to watch his story, He brought you here to make His story.
