The first strike

The guards marched up and down, carrying out their night duties, holding their lighted torch. Taehyung watched silently as he tried recalling
their marching pattern from a distance. (from their hideout.)

They had reached the North a few days before, currently hiding up in the mountains. They'd have to move soon though, towards the palace grounds itself. It was time for the first strike.

Jimin nodded slightly at Jin, signalling that the coast was clear. Capes following the same rhythm as their footsteps as they turned, walk, slide. Making it look like some form of dance as they made their way towards the main chamber. None other than Namjoon's lair.

Calseloux had taken over Delcanville in a matter of days, but he couldn't access the throne without the help of Celeste. And they needed to end this, thus, they were in search of a scroll that contained information on activating the throne.

Namjoon was nowhere to be seen as Jin peered through the holes. He slid in and immediately cast a small spell onto the lock, making it fade away. Silently, he grabbed hold of the scroll and pulled it out.

He turned around , only to be face with Namjoon himself. Shit.

"The last time you managed to escape, now you're back to be captured?" Namjoon raised an eyebrow.

"I came for what i want" Jin replied calmly even though he was slowly getting surrounded by guards.

"What you want? Or what Velford wants?" He corrected.

"What i want" A slight hesitation could be heard from his voice.

"You're doing this for him, he sent you here to get the scroll"

"No, i am not. Listen you have to-"

"Hes using you, Jin. Dont you see? He wants the throne, you dont want it. As for the scroll, you dont want it, he wants it" Namjoon took a step closer.

"You're under his control" He spoke, his words thickening with a siren's aura. Something similar to a siren, something thats calling you, pulling you towards a deep hole, trapping you.

Jin could sense he was getting hypnotised and quickly break the eye contact when he still could.

"Velford is using you, hes using you to get what he wants. Hes using you to get into all these obstacles, hes making you do all the dirty work and in the end"

"He triumphs, and you?"

"You just get thrown aside, people forget about you. All the work you do for him" He showed Jin a vision as his voice continued radiating the siren aura.

"Gone" He folded his hand back, the vision disappearing into thin air.

"All gone, hes using you jin, and you have to see it. Don't go under his traps, you're nothing to him"

"Im.." Jin slowly started to walk into the portal Namjoon had created by whisking his hands gracefully.

"nothing"

"Yes" Namjoon's eyes outlined a stronger and tighter blue.

"Im nothing" He repeated as one of his foot stepped into the blue spinning portal.

"Im nothing"

"IM NOTHING TO YOU" Jin snapped out of it and backed away from the portal, shocking Namjoon slightly.

"You think you and your crazy hypnotising skills can win me? Well, no"

"Seems like you've gotten stronger" He commented.

"Take him away" He ordered but as soon as the guards tried to grab hold of Jin, Taehyung, Jimin and Yoongi stepped in and defended Jin.

"Oh, you called for backup"

"That's a win for me then" Namjoon clapped his hands once which caused all of them to fall in a portal that was opened up by him on the ground.

Celeste stared emotionless at the wall, throwing yet another small rock onto it. Her brother had led the team out for the mission but requested her to remain here as it was too dangerous.

"Calseloux seeks you, you mustn't get caught" She sighed silently as she recalled his words.

But she was guarded by hoseok, she knew her brother deliberately chose hoseok to stay with her.

His efforts will go to waste though, they havent spoken a word since that day and she doubt they would.

She was just about to throw another rock when she heard footsteps—-Calseloux guards.

Immediately she stood up and got closer to the entrance of the cave, she was right. Not too far away, she could see them.

Hoseok caught on fast, he knew as well and stood in front of celeste, eyes landing on the mini torches that were slowly getting clearer.

"We need to go" Celeste started, she didn't care if they had fought, her main priority was about her safety. Well, their safety.

Hoseok merely nodded and walked towards the  nearby cliff, they needed to climb if they wanted to get out of here.

"you first," letting celeste stay in front of him. Since the enemies were coming from the back, he couldn't risk her getting shot.

Not a single word more was uttered during the climbing, but also because of this, they had more energy to successfully climb over it. Success was not held up for long though, before they knew it, arrows being shot could be heard and it was towards them.

"Quick, go" Hoseok ran and told Celeste, they needed to take cover under a rock.

He watched the numerous arrow flew over their heads as they hid behind it, some missing them by barely a few inches, some landed on top of the rock. Calseloux had sent this much of guards?

His eyes reflected the burning flames concealing the tip of the arrows shot, so, calseloux had planned this all along.

Jin struggled as he was harshly chained to the dungeon cell, he was thrown by the guards and this cell was the one that forbid powers.

Jimin and Yoongi too were with him, all in each of their different cells. Yoongi grabbed a hold onto the rails of the dungeon cell and shook it hard, demanding to be let out while Jimin focused on healing his fresh wound he got from one of the guards.

Taehyung, however, was nowhere to be seen. He was held down by the guards , in another room, forced to kneel in front of Namjoon and his fingers played carelessly with a knife.

"So we meet again"
