Jungkook enters the company elevator with the usual scowl on his face. His morning isn't exactly a bright sunshiny day. It's more of a cluster of thunderstorms because his father decides to accept a new employee. Jungkook never likes new employees. They always flirt with him, using lame jokes that has Jungkook gagging to the core. That's not the problem, though. The main problem is that they don't actually do their work and just openly flirts and ogles Jungkook. The more they stay, the more it annoys the CEO's son. New employees rarely stay longer than a week in his department, and Jungkook is not happy with the news of another one. Probably some sick who'll try to flirt with him again. As if he'll let that happen.
The elevator opens with a ding and he walks out only to be greeted by the sound of keyboards tapping and the smell of coffee. As he passes by some desks, a few of the employees bow down at him or greet him a "good morning, sir". Jungkook nods to acknowledge their greetings, but he doesn't speak.
He saunters towards his office, noticing an unfamiliar face. Must be the new guy. He is quite handsome, Jungkook must say. But looks can be deceiving. He might be another one of those...retarded idiots. With a huff, Jungkook enters his office and readies himself for another day at work.
An hour later, Jungkook stretches on his office chair. He opts to get some coffee when the office phone suddenly rings. "What?" he says immediately after picking up.
"Jungkook, your father says that you need to give a word of encouragement to the new employee," Dara says, his father's secretary. Jungkook knits his eyebrows."Why is that?" he asks.
"He reviewed the new guy's resumé and saw that his performance was great. Both in academics and his previous job. He says it's important that this employee stays in our company. He knows how things work in your department, Jungkook. Your father doesn't want to lose this one just because."
Jungkook huffs in annoyance and mutters a "fine" before slamming the phone down. "I'll show him what encouragement looks like," Jungkook hisses as he gets up to do exactly what his father says, the idea of grabbing coffee forgotten.
Meanwhile, Jimin is typing away the pile of paperwork that needs to be encoded. To be honest, this isn't the type of work he really dreams of. His pay on his past work is fucking great, but one of his co-workers seduced him to the point that she almost strips her clothes. To make matters worse, their boss saw them. The man was furious, but he doesn't kick Jimin out. Jimin leaves on his own free will, in exchange for the girl to stay. His co-workers and boss even gave him a farewell party as if he's the fucking CEO of the company.
Now, here he is. Back to square one. Despite having enough money to fend him for years, Jimin chooses to work his ass off. I mean, he has nothing better to do anyway. Other than having flings or quickies, Jimin doesn't have a stable relationship. Let's say he did have once or twice, but it didn't work out well for him. So he's single as , but that's fine. At least, for a time being. Although he admits, he misses having someone to take care of. He misses the feeling of loving someone that you'll actually do anything just for them. He's still hoping that he will find someone.
Little did he know that that someone is opening the office door, walking towards him with a scowling face.
