Summer finally came around. Everyone was happy to finally get the break that they deserved. You were looking forward to go home, but in the back of your mind you didn't want to leave Hungary.
Lando had been in your mind ever since you met him. Nothing ever happened between the two of you, except a few talks and stares in the race weekends. You could both sense the tension between each other, but you were both too shy to try and make a move.
You doubt anything will ever happen.
Right now, you were standing in front of this Hungarian pub, to go celebrate the end of the first half of the season with the other teams. Standing alongside you was Daniel, all dressed up and ready to party.
'All right, Ava. We are going all out tonight' he tells you. 'It's time for you to get out there'
You chuckle. 'Are you saying that I'm boring?'
'No! Of course not, but it's time to celebrate. You either go hard, or don't go at all. We are going hard tonight.' He explains to you as he grabs you by the arm and leads you into the pub.

Two hours later, you're looking for Daniel. Everything seems blurry, and you feel a little dizzy. Daniel is no where to be seen, and all you want is to go back to the hotel. Those drinks were too much for you.
Suddenly, your eyes meet another pair that look too familiar.
Lando.
'Lando.'
'Ava.'
'You have any clue where Daniel is? I've been looking for him everywhere.'
The Brit shrugs. 'Haven't seen him.' he tilts his head, and looks confused. 'Why?'
'Well, he's the one who brought me here and I just want go back to the hotel.' I explain to him, but he still looks like a confused puppy. I gotta admit, he looks really cute.
'Why are you so obsessed with Daniel?' he asks, snapping me out if my thoughts. Now it's my turn to be confused.
'What do you mean?'
'It's always Daniel, Where's Daniel? and Oh I need Daniel, why not me? I'm always here Ava, but you never need me and it's driving me insane.' he rants, leaving me speechless.
'Don't you get it, Ava? He doesn't like you!' he says, and I frown.
'Well, Lando, I don't like him! Daniel is my best friend. Why on earth would you think that I like him? Don't you see that I like you?' I say, making me cover my mouth as soon as the words came out of my mouth. His facial expression changed, from confusion to suprised, or shocked, I can't tell the difference.
He makes eye contact with me, and I feel the heat through my entire body. He always has this effect on me. He looked so serious, for once in his life. The boy was always fooling around, but now he's not even thinking about joking. He slowly takes a step closer to me, but this time I don't step back. It's probably the alcohol that gave me the courage to stay.
It felt like the music faded when his hand touched my cheek, his fingers slipping my hair behind my ear, not breaking the eye contact. My breathing became heavier, not knowing what was going to happen next.
I open my mouth to say something, but he puts his finger on my lips, shaking his head.
'Please don't speak, for once.' he says, and his fingers trace from my lips to my chin, bringing my face closer to his. God, he looks so beautiful. An actual angel, that's what he is. I take one more look at his beautiful face, and I close my eyes, finally giving in at what Lando has always wanted.
When his lips met mine, a bomb full of butterflies exploded. It felt like a relief, like something heavy finally fell from my shoulders. This is what we both always wanted to have.
Then, Lando pulled away, and I wished this moment could last a little longer. Little did I know, that it was going to last a whole lot longer than just that.
