We're actually not as high and mighty as we pretend, you know?
Humans think that there's nothing above them. That's such a sick thought - it's tyrrany. What do we actually have to act so selfish? It's not a couple formulaes!
We've destroyed this planet, and it's not even ours. the world has become unrepairable, but we're going on with our lives so easily. We're not even afraid that we have to answer to our children.
At hindsight, our actions come across as absolutely thoughtless - to a point where it's comical. We're cutting millions of trees. Removing more and more oxygen from our aldready overpopulated planet. But then? Making posh furniture. Or fancy chopsticks. Or showy things - what's the point?
Humans rely so much on science and technology to just renew the earth in a giffy. We forget that this same science has landed us on our current disaster of a situation.
