"m-mai?"

Mai stood in the doorway looking at jaemin. "hi jaemin, it's been a while." Jaemin couldn't think of anything to say in that moment, he only stood there and stared at mai. "well show your guest around jaemin!."

  "Oh yeah sorry follow me i guess."  Jaemin said frowning. Mai smiled and followed along. "Ive missed you so much jaemin, have you missed me?" Jaemin laughed. "sure, if thats what you want me to say. Sure i missed you."

  Mai glared at jaemin. "whats with the mean tone! youre supposed to miss me! im your girlfriend." Jaemin sighed. "i broke up with you so long ago Mai. Get over it, get me out of your head!" What jaemin said seemed to have just gone over Mais head because she still followed jaemin around.

Renjun watched from the couch as Mai clung to jaemin and as jaemin did nothing to stop her. "wouldnt they make an adorable couple again?" Jaemins mom asked sitting down by renjun. "Oh um i guess yeah."

  "you see renjun, my son has a lot going for him. I wouldnt want him to make a mistake that would ruin his future." Renjun looked up at jaemins mom. "What mistake might that be Mrs. Na?" Jaemins mom smiled. "Well you of course. You think i dont notice you two? Always kissing and hugging. It needs to stop, my son took you in as a way to make himself look better to the human eye so he will have a great reputation. he wasnt supposed to fall in love with you. Especially you being a boy."

  "Whats so wrong about him liking a boy?" Renjun said holding back tears. "Many things, it isnt right and it needs to stop. If hes serious about you then he'll stay with you but if he wants a good future he'll do what he knows he needs to do. And if you know whats good for him you'll leave him alone, you'll only be the stupid orphan kid he adopted. You'll let him marry who he's meant to marry and once you can, You'll leave my son."

Renjun couldnt say a word. He only nodded and ran upstairs with tears flowing down his face. He hadnt even noticed Jaemins dad watching from a far, with sadness in his eyes for the boy.
