Meanwhile at the hospital. Emma had her arm checked out and turned out to be just a flesh wound luckily. She was now in the car with her fiance. Penny. She has long strawberry blonde hair and is very short. Shorter than Regina.

"How did you get to the hospital if your arm hurt that bad I had to pick you up" Penny asked looking curiouly at her fiance.

"My partner dropped me before she went home" Emma replied glancing across at the shorter woman.

"Partner? And she's a she? You didn't tell me you had a partner or that she was a she" Penny asked a little shocked by what she just heard.

"I thought I mentioned it. This case I have to work with someone and I was put with Regina" Emma shrugged like it was no big deal but her fiance saw differently.

"Regina? That brunette beauty from the work party that just sat on her own looking bored and sorry for herself" Penny questioned in a shocked tone as she already knew her answer.

"Yeah that's her" Emma nodded while turning her gaze to the front window.

"So you think she's a brunette beauty? I don't want you working with someone you think is a beauty. I mean I know I'm hotter than her but still. I know what your like" Penny sassed as she showed off how modest she truly was.

"What I'm like? Enlighten me. What am I like" Emma asked making it obvious she was offended by this comment.

"Well did you forget how we started dating. We were both cheating on our boyfriends with each other" Penny sighed like the blonde was stupid for not knowing she thought this.

"Me and my so called boyfriend were each others cover up. It doesn't count as cheating if your not properly dating and he knows. He was sleeping with men as well. Your the one who actually cheated on your boyfriend for me" Penny replied trying to make sure she stood up for herself.

"You still cheated. Just own up to it. Your not cheating on me with her are you? I mean I'm super hot and amazing in bed. What more do you want? Still I know you. You better not be cheating" Penny babbled on as she started to mainly talk into the air at whoever would listen.

"I'm not cheating" Emma growled quickly in hope to get the strawberry blonde womand attention off herself.

"How do I know" Penny asked sticking her nose in the air as she waited inpatiently for an answer.

"Well for one she's straight and two I'm engaged to you" Emma sighed annoyed this conversation is still happening.

"She better be. I saw what she looks like. She's super hot and I don't like you working with her" Penny warned in a bitchy voice as she pursed her lips out.

"I dont get a choice. I have to work with her or I get fired" Emma replied with a sigh as she shrugged off the fact her fiance called Regina hot.

"Anyway so I went shopping today and brought the cutest dress that makes me look so irresistible" Penny started to mumble on and on causing Emma to just drown out what she was saying and nod along. This went on for the whole 20 minute drive they shared before finally arriving home. "So 7 tomorrow" Penny questioned leaving Emma looking puzzled at what she just missed.

"What" the blonde questioned giving her a confused look.

"Date night tomorrow so I can wear my new boots. We just talked about this" Penny sighed folding her arms and frowning at her fiance.

"Ow yeah right. I'll have to check because I'm not sure what we're doing tomorrow so I might miss it. I'll call Regina soon and find out" Emma explained quickly as she tried to find some sort of excuse out of it.

Emma loved Penny but she was too much to handle sometimes and Emma knew she wasn't going to be in the mood for dinner tomorrow. After a long day with Regina being angry to come home to Penny being modest isn't the best at the moment. Penny is always obsessed with the fact Emma is cheating on her but still thinks she's the hottest girl in the world.

"Fine but if you say you are coming and then blow me off for Regina I'll be pissed" Penny warned as she got out the car sticking her ass out more as she did so.

Emma just sighed and got out the car. She walked behind her fiance into the house they share. Penny went to the kitchen to cook dinner and Emma was just sat in the lounge. Tired from the day and her arm hurt. She then felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She slipped it out and held it in front to see who it was. Regina. Regina?! She was confused why Regina would message her when she's this mad. Emma opened the message curiouly.

Regina: how's the shoulder???

Emma: just a flesh wound. I'm sorry about what I said earlier. I was in a lot of pain. Xx

Regina: I know. It's ok. I shouldn't have reacted that way. I'm just glad your alright.

Emma: what are we doing tomorrow? Where we meeting? Xx

Regina: station. We need to look at some of the information we have and then the call records that were made by David Freeman.

Emma: sounds good👍I'll see you tomorrow xx

Regina: indeed

Penny came into the room causing Emma to turn her phone off quickly. She had nothing to hide but Penny always found something. The strawberry blonde straddled Emma's lap and placed a small kiss on her neck.

"I love you baby" Penny whispered into her ear while holding her arms securely around the blonde.

"I love you too" Emma mumbled back as she decided she had to put her arms around her fiances waist.

"Well of course you do. Everyone does" Penny replied with a laugh before leaning back down to kiss the blondes neck.

Emma closed her eyes and Regina popped into her head. For some reason she was imagining it was Regina kissing her. Her eyes shot open when she realised what she was doing. She sat forward so fast Penny almost fell off her lap.

"Ow shit" Emma whispered as it finally hit her she was attracted to Regina somehow.

"What the hell" Penny questioned not hearing what her fiance just said.

"Sorry. I... Thought I saw a spider on the ceiling" Emma quickly replied coming up with her only lie she could think of.

Penny sighed and made her way back to Emma's neck. The blonde just sat there trying to figure out how the hell she was attracted to Regina. One of the worst humans ever. And hottest. But still! How could Emma possibly like Regina?
