"Thanks" I heard her yell
"No problem, I hope we can be friends" I said getting in the car
While I was in the car I got a call from Nino.
"Hey what's up dude" I said
"Hey, we need to meet up at the place" Nino said and hung up
When Nino hung up the phone I got really worried because he sound really scared and he told me to meet at the place. The place is the only place that Nathaniel doesn't know about. We never go there often only when it's an emergency.
When I finally got home I ran to my room and got into my suit and jumped out the window. I went near Marinette's house to see if she was ok. I saw that she was waiting for me, she looked really sad. I was about to jump on her balcony, when my phone rang again.
"Nino I'll be right there" I yelled into the phone
"This is not Nino, Adrien. I need to speak to you privately, meet me at the first place we meet. Be there at 10" Nathaniel said
"Ok, but I need to deal with other business first, so I might be a little late" I told him
I hung up the phone before he could say anything else.
When I finally got there I went inside. I saw Nino pacing back and forth and Alya trying to calm Nino down.
"Hey what's going on" I shouted
"What toke you so long Adrien, you know what don't answer that. Come with me" Alya said going the the living room
"Ok, now can you tell me why you made me come here" I asked getting nervous
"Um Dude, you need to stop seeing Marinette" Nino said hiding behind the couch
"Ok, what Nino means is you need to cut the deal with Nathaniel" Alya said
"Why" I asked about to flip the table
"Because we find out that it was a trap all along, we talked to Marinette and we where able to get a blood sample from her. Without her knowing of course. Anyway when I tested it, well when I started testing it, it turned to ice" Alya said
"And like you said she knows Nathaniel. We think that if you make the deal, that Marinette will find out about you and expose you to everyone" Nino said, still behind the couch
"But she can't because Nathaniel said that he and his gang won't expose us if we work with them" I said
"That's the thing, she not in the gang. She knows nothing about this, this is a set up. That was his motive all along. He makes you give him the Dance Club, and since she isn't in the gang, she can expose your secret" Alya said
"Ok, I'll deal with this" I said then looked at my phone "I got to go"
It was 10:39 and it toke at least 15 minutes to get to the hotel. I'm definitely going to be late. He is going to be pissed. When I finally got there I went to the back of the hotel. I was shocked to see that Nathaniel was still there and he didn't have anyone with him.
"Well well well, I thought you were going to be gone by the time I got here. Guess I was wrong or this is serious" I shouted from the second floor
"Your an hour late" Nathaniel said very calmly, which scared me
"Well you said you need to speak to me privately, yet I see 3 of your guys with guns aiming at me. Did you think I was going to attack you" I said jumping off the second floor.
