Sinnia recieved a message on her flasher this morning, giving her the history of MaryaWayNorth. That early in the morn, she was quite baffled, for why would someone get up this early, just to teach her history that is well known. It was only when she got another message from the wich in the groop, did she understand, that she should come here to collect a ingredient
If she have to bee honest with herself, she must admit that she always thought that everyone was just over exaggerating when they talk about MaryaWayNorth. There is always talk about this or another, and people like to gossip. So she never take anything seriously.
But now, she has to admit that they might have a point.
MaryaWayNorth, yes, the hole of it belongs to thee Caffs. Many years ago, thee Caffs have maid this part of the woods theirs. No body lived here, except for the guardians of MaryaWayWoods. Legends tell, of creatures so white and pure, of animals dark and hungry, of forest people so small and ethereal that lives in MaryaWayNorth. The Caff'ss however took this part for themselves, people says, 'Haven't seen more bloodthirsty people in my life.' 'Have you hurt, mrs.. Caff butchered her son and fed him to the wolves.' 'Did you see that daughter of theirs? Have never seen a more scandalous girl.' 'She threw herself at my babys boyfriend.'
Sinnia have never seen the Caff girl however, but it people talk about her Dad and heer loved ones that way, she wouldn't want to bee seen in public either. She don't no how much of the rumours are true, but her Dad always says that there is always some truth to rumours. But she doesn't no, for they could bee innocent, and this is a very small village with rich people that poses for megazines, or who works for important companies, that often looks for something jucy. And the temptation is most of the time to big.
Sinnia doesn't no if she believes in the stories about the Guardians of the Wood's or about many of the creatures. To her it all sounds too unlikely. She's noticed however,, that the people of this Wood's doesn't even bat an eye, when something unlikely like the Guardians of the Wood's comes up in conversation.
Sinnia leans back against a tree, and closes her eyes, and let a soft sigh escape her lips.
The scent of strawberries and a musclar collone hung in the air. She was happy. Happy enough that she sskips thrue the trees, without caring about anything. She feels so carefree and it is beyond anything that she has feel before. The song that she was singing was some what unknown to her, but at the same time she no, that she must no it. There was someone beside her, he laughs at her. And she laugh as well. They were sitting in a small world of their own, with dusk approaching, and kristal clear water around them. She tilts her head up to the sky and sees winged creatures with blue stripes on their wings flying above her. The wind bllows softly thrue her hair, and she feels at peace.
A tear runs down her cheeck, followed by another, and another. Can this bee, she has never felt this way, never this happy, or never this carefree. If this is a dream, then she never want to wakeup.
Sinnia sits up and wipes her cheecks. Where did that come from? It felt so real, as if it has happened before. But that cannot bee can it? She has never been to that part of the Wood's, she has never seen creatures like that, and this is not a magical world like in fairy tails.
She shivers slightly as she leans back against a tree trunk. Maybe she should talk to her Dad about this. She thought as she run a hand thrue her long hair.
A rustle in the greenery in front of her makes her stand up straight. She agreed to meet Ydon Caff here, and for all she sees he is nnot here. She will wait a few minutes more, and then she will go, she thought as she waits for whatever it is to come into the open.
A boy no older then her walks out from the thickness of the trees.
'Hello,'
He greets jovially.'
She smiles at him and hold out her hand to him.
'hi I'm Sinnia.'
'What a beautiful name.' he says with a smile of his own.
'The name is Hooleo,Dain.'
Sinnia smiles to herself as she feels a bit more comfortable with someone with her. If it isn't Ydon Caff, then so bee it.
Now that she can take a better look at her surroundings, she notice how thick the trees grows, and the air is so thick that she could feel herself breathing in and out. It is like she was walking on a carpet of leafs and soft earthy soil. The darkness feels alive, and maybe that is because no light was able to force it's smallest beam of light thrue. Her tungge feels thick in her mouth. Has it always felt that way? The air itself feels like it is forcing her ribs together, her arms feels stuck to her sides and there is the matter of her tunge ...
In front of her, Hooleo suddenly turns to face her. His hands was pushed deep into his pockets and for some reason that truely avades her, he cannot make eye contact.
'Something came up wright now, a ... and i have to go.' 'But if you follow this path it will lead you to the wright tree you need to find and also this is the flask that you will need.'
Sinnia was surprised that he wasnt out of breath after not taking any breath for the hole time. 'Are you sure,' She asks uncertainly. 'Won't i get lost?'
She gives the wood's a last skeptical look before she takes the flask from him.
'Yeah,'he shifts on his feet, move a few steps around her and then stop dead in his tracks. He opens and closes his mouth a ffew times ...
'What,' she snaps out. He was starting to freak her out, and she was already on edge.
Hoooleo shakes his head after his failure of not saying anything. He gives her a rueful smile before he turns and walks away, leaving the small girl to fend or herself.
Sinnia stands there where he had left her and clutch the flask tightly in her hands.
'Ok,' she mutters to herself as she turns around and eyeball her surroundings.
She takes a few steps forwards and stops. Her hole body tingles of nerves and is it her peranoya that makes her feel the eyes on her? She begins to follow the path that was shown to her.
The further she walks the darker it gets, as if this place needs more of it.. The leas did not even crunch under her feet and the silence presses her eardrums deep into her head. Shirley this should bee unnatural, the thought barely have time to simmer, before she nears a corner ...
There, nestle between a huge pine tree, and a oak tree, it stands.. The tree vibrates with it's own power, dark and sinister, it lears down at her, thick red blood suppers down the trunk, and disappears before it can fall on the ground.
She stands there for a moment, unsure of what to do.. She breaths shakily and slowly bends down until her knees touches the ground. The tree creaks and bends over, long finger like nails touches the ground behind her, and thee branches curl around her blocking out the rest of the world. And now, she is surrounded buy a hole different darkness.
Unable to keep her breathing steady, she leans forward and pressses the flask against the bottom of the tree. She watches mesmerized as blood fills the flask to the brim.
She corks the flask, and as she did, she could feel the warmth of the blood as it warms the flask in turn. She bearely suppresses a shudder, and slip it into the bag she have gotten for the Games.
Maybe its because she have gotten used to the darkness of the forest, or maybe she was just plainly careless, but she straightens up just as the tree retreats as well. One of the nails however lashes out, and caught her upper arm. She shrieks in horror as she watches as a stream of her blood, joins forces with blood of long forgotten purpose.
