From The Big World (Lou x Reader)

Part Two - Imperfection

You rubbed your eyes and started looking around the place. It was huge. You turned around and saw a giant tv screen. Through it, you saw your room. You were beyond confused at this point. What had just happened?

Then it hit you.

Some way, somehow, you had been brought into imperfection. The merge of uglyville and the institute of perfection. Even though you didn't get it, you didn't question it. You were in the same world as Lou. And that was really the only thing you needed to make you happy right now.

You began to walk forward, and what seemed like millions of dolls came into view, uglys and prettys alike. It was incredible!

It wasn't long before you began to wonder what you looked like.

You found a mirror and slowly approached it. You looked just like your real-world self in doll form. You had beautiful h/c hair, shimmering e/c eyes, and smooth s/c skin. You were wearing an outfit that you were in love with.

As you approached the mirror closer and closer, you began to notice a button-like shape on it. You pressed it and allowed it to scan you over.

"Your name is y/n! You're a student." The mirror said.

You expected it to say more, but you shrugged it off and went off to meet some other dolls. You ran into Moxy first, of course. She welcomed every doll that came with open arms. She asked your name politely.

"Uh... Hi... My name is y/n..." You said shyly. "I take it you're Moxy?" You asked nervously.

"Yup! I see you're new here. Would you like a tour?" She smiled.

"yes please," You happily responded.

Moxy spent her entire day showing you around imperfection. She showed you where you would be living, where to make friends, and many other places. But there was one place she didn't show you, and you needed to know about it.

"So, Moxy, Thanks for showing me around and all, but I have one question-" You began.

"Anything you want to know, y/n!"

She seemed like she was ALWAYS happy, no matter what. It sort of made you uncomfortable.

"You remember Lou? You know, the guy who-" You started talking, but she cut you off.

"Oh! Lou! of course, we remember him! He was the worst, don't you think?" She shouted aloud, as many other dolls nodded in agreement. You were actually a bit offended.

"Well- I don't think he was that bad... I kind of like him actually-" You whispered quiet enough that the other dolls could not hear you.

"Wait- not to offend you or anything, but you are new, right? How do you even know about Lou?" She asked you, making an odd face.

"I- um-" You paused.

You couldn't just tell her you came from the big world!! What would she say? There's no way she would believe you!

"I-I..." You had no idea what to say. You were at a loss for words.

"y/n? are you alright?" Moxy asked you quietly. You leaned down and whispered in her ear. You had no choice but to tell her the truth.

"I came from the big world... I watched uglydolls... That's how I know about Lou," You whispered. It actually went a little better then you expected.

She just laughed at you nervously, as if you were telling some sort of joke.

"Fine. If you're going to laugh at me, could you at least tell me where you are keeping him, please? I really want to meet him."

She continued laughing.

"We keep him in the big house and make him clean!! everybody knows that!!" She got out between laughs and giggles. She had tears in her eyes.

You made a really mad face, nodded, and headed to the house. She clearly did not think you were serious at all. But that was fine by you. All it did was make it easier for you to get past her. Once you got to the house, you saw some robot guards in front of it, quite clearly preventing Louis from escaping.

"Um... Hello..?" You stuttered.

"HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" The robot shouted.

"Um... I'm here to visit Louis... Is he here?" You asked.

"HOURS FOR THE HOUSE ARE FROM NINE AM TO NINE PM," The robot on the left shouted unnecessarily loudly. You checked the time.

Five pm.

They stepped aside to let you into the house. Tons of dolls were in there already, making a mess and having fun. You were uninterested in these things at the time and went off to find Lou.

You ran along the whole building looking for him. He was really hard to find. You ran past a room, and backed yourself up so you could see what was inside.

It was him.

It was Louis.

He was inside the room cleaning up the mess all the other dolls had made. You were sure that you sat there staring at him for at least twenty minutes, and you were blushing the whole time.

You were sure of it.

But then, he glanced over to the paint covered doorway, only to see you standing there, flustered as ever.
