B R I A N N A

When Stella arrived the next day, it was noon. I had already cleaned the house and finished the assignments I had to delivery next month. I was currently doing some research and taking some notes for a class. Studying psychology was no easy task, but it was worth it at the end of each semester. I got to understand more and more how the human mind worked. Stella, on the other hand, studied design and fashion, which was pretty cool as she gave me a lot of tips and helped me keep up with the trends.

My study was interrupted by a knock on the door. Not taking my eyes off the computer, I muttered a "Yes?". The door opened and I turned to see who it was. Stella smiled at me.

"Hey, me and Ethan are having a cup of coffee in the kitchen. Wanna join us?" She asked. "I can make you a cup of tea." She quickly added. She knew I don't drink coffee.

"Yes, I'll be right there. Thanks, Ella."

She smiled at me and closed the door again. I saved my researches and turned off the laptop, heading to the kitchen.

"Hey, Bree! How are you?" Ethan greeted me, giving me my cup of tea.

"I'm alright." I took the cup and sipped on it. "How are you two lovebirds?"

They looked at each other smiling. Which meant they were good, really good.

"So... How was the ride back?" Stella spoke, eyeing me with a grin.

Oh, I know what this means. She was trying to play matchmaker. That won't happen, Ella.

"It was... hm... Eventful." I had trouble finding the right word to describe it.

"Well, tell us!" She said, curious.

"Oh, alright!" I rolled my eyes playfully. "So, right after you left, a girl showed up to Benjamin and they left to speak, which turned into a heated discussion," I said, recalling the previous night. "So I turned my back to them, you know, to give them more privacy, and right as I turned I met someone."

"Who was it?" Stella spoke, growing more curious.

"His name was..." I stopped, remembering the bad blood between Benjamin and Killian and how much Benjamin told me to not get involved with him. Which made me wonder if Ethan knew anything about it. "Eth, do you know who Killian Jones is?" I asked, turning to him.

He choked a bit in his coffee. His reaction indicated that he did know him.

"Wait, who is he?" Stella asked. "And more importantly, is he hot?" She added, receiving a stare from her boyfriend. Someone's jealous.

"Yes, he's very handsome." My cheeks flushed a bit.

"Is someone having a crush?" She spoke, way too much excited.

"Bree, he is not good news." Ethan said, breaking Stella's happiness.

"Oh, you too?!" I rolled my eyes. "Benjamin kept saying that!"

"And you should listen to him, Brianna."

"Why is he so bad?" Stella asked her boyfriend.

"Girls, just..." He fumbled with his words. "Just trust me, alright?"

Stella and I looked at each other, shrugging. We kept gossiping while finishing our coffee and tea. Ethan, however, kept silent, texting away on his phone.

The week when by smoothly and Saturday came quickly. Earlier today, Stella and Ethan convinced me to go out with them again. I mean, I could use a break from my studies, right? Stella and I were currently getting ready. Ethan had gone to his house to get ready as well and would later stop by to give us a ride.
