We made it to the end of the week!

Connor and I, somehow, weren't late to any of our classes.

And the end of the week meant that Zach was coming. He still doesn't know I'm here either. Julian can keep a secret if she has to. She texted me saying that they're by the field of flowers. I told Connor, and we went to meet up with the couple.

I saw them sitting on a nearby bench holding hands. Zach spotted us, and he looked surprised but happy. He stood up. We ran towards each other to hug. I may not be as close to Zach as I am with Jace or as close to Jace as I am with Brayden or Connor, but I have a special bond with each of the boys. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

The four of us have been talking for a long time. Zach was telling a story about him and the boys when we were on tour, ". . . so Sammy laughed and made sure we recorded it. We got yelled at by other security though - mainly Ryan. Oh, and another time . . ."

"Samantha! Connor!" We heard a distant yelling. I knew it was Lisa, and I had to mentally prepare myself. "Hey, guys!" She greeted us when she made it over. "I was going to see if you wanted to hang out."

"I would, but I'm catching up with some friends right now. Connor isn't busy though. He'll hang out with you," I spoke.

"Awesome! Let's go." Connor glared daggers at me as Lisa dragged him along by his arm.

"I never liked that girl. She seems fishy," Julian said once they were out of earshot.

"Thank you! I don't trust her either. I think she's up to some suspicious activity."

"So you make Connor hang out with her?"

"She likes him, and we need to get information on her. Do you know anything?"

"No, sorry. I didn't want to associate with her. All I know is that she's, like, the assistant director of activities." I never told her that I'm a spy, but she didn't question my reasoning. Either Zach told her, or she could've just guessed.

"That could be where all the pep comes from, but it's okay. I understand."

We were talking until it became dark. I decided to go back to our room to give Zach and Julian some time to themselves.

I checked my phone on the way back. There were a few texts from Connor. He wanted an excuse to leave. I don't blame him. I figured that he had suffered long enough, so I called him.

In case Lisa was listening, I spoke in a quick, panicky voice, "CR, I need you to come back to our room."

"Why? What happened?" We're both great at acting.

"I don't feel so well. I'm light-headed and- and-"

"Okay, I'm coming. Just calm down. I'll be right there - stay on the phone," then he started talking to Lisa. "I have to go help Samantha."

"I could come with and help," she suggested.

"That won't be necessary. She's not a people-person."

"Oh, okay. Well, we'll talk soon."

"Yeah, bye." A few seconds later I heard a door shut.

"I'm finally free!" Connor whisper-yelled into the phone. "Samantha, you may be right about her. She was acting a bit weird and fidgeting a lot."

"Of course I'm right. I'm smart like that. Maybe it's a girl thing because Julian thinks she's distrustful, too."

There was a knock on the door. I didn't realize Connor hung up until he yelled at me to open the door because he forgot his key. See? He's always forgetting things.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome. I'm gonna go take a shower, so don't be too weird."

"No promises," he tried to wink.

"That's exactly what I'm talking about."

"Oh well."

"Ugh, whatever. You're impossible sometimes."

"Ditto."
