"Jesus fucking Christ. Maintenance just ended and that mount JUST came out! Who the hell would get it that early?!" A young man said, rather exhausted.
He had chocolate colored skin, an athletic build and cat like features. Cat like is incorrect, they were literal cat features. A pair of cat ears on his head along with a long cat tail protruding from his tailbone. His black hair, braided in rows around his cat ears, ended in a braided ponytail. He wore a black eyepatch over his left eye, his right revealed to be yellow with a slit like pupil. On his chest was a dark blue button up with the bottom as well as top two buttons left unbuttoned. He wore black, baggy cargo pants along with black boots with jewelry and accessories. The cat boy looked himself over.
"Nothing's missing and my glamours are still good. Jeez, ever since I got smacked into the game, other people's mounts have become a problem. I think this hurts more than when I was hit by that whale."
It was only then that the boy looked up and assessed his surroundings. He was in the woods, deep forest from the looks of it, but nothing familiar.
"This don't look like no zone in Gridania I know. Maybe I can-nope. Well. Shit."
The cat boy reached out into the air in front of him, but was unable to open his map. After several attempts, he managed to open his inventory and character menu, as well as his action traits.
"Cool, then I'll just teleport back to the Free Comp-what?"
Unfortunately for him, no. He wouldn't just teleport away. He wasn't teleporting anywhere, actually, as his Aethernet teleportation list was completely wiped clean.
"So. This is how it feels when God hates you, huh." The cat boy said, squatting down. After about 5 minutes of staring at the grass below him and thinking of every horrible thing he could do, he felt a little better. With that problem out of the way, he checked his character menu again, changing his class to his ninja.
His shirt changed. Despite being a 'ninja', his attire was far from stealthy. Then again, his attire barely changed. His infantry shirt was a combination of black, white, silver and a purple sash around his torso as well as unscathed. He retained his black baggy pants, boots and eyepatch as well, making for more a pirate aesthetic than ninja.
'Glamours still accounted for. If I'm running around I might as well make it quicker.' He thought, activating his teleport while sprinting through the forest. There was a severe lack of enemies, which he found odd. He didn't hear any other sounds, for that matter. No river near by, no crunching leaves, hell, there weren't even birds singing. The forest was devoid of life and was starting to give him the creeps.
That's when he came across the first broken down tree. He continued moving, making note of his surroundings. Multiple trees toppled, some seemingly sliced through, others looking to be shot through.
'Well, now I know I ain't alone. Whether or not that's a relief is finna be determined.' He thought to himself. That's when he heard it. He never heard it in his real life, but many games taught him one thing to do when you weren't sure if that sound was your friend or not. He dived behind a tree, staying down on the ground as the whirling continued before an unending volley of shots flew through the tree line ahead of him, adamant to dig themselves into wherever they were aimed.
'Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK! Did machinist get a update?!'
The young Cat Man peeped around the corner of the tree he was behind after realizing the gunfire wasn't aimed in his direction. He was able to make out many figures. One, the one who was currently holding AND firing a mini-gun, was a girl. He could only see her back, but he could make out the fact she dressed with style. Turtlenecks, what looked like a corset and multiple chains? This girl was best dressed if he knew a thing or two. His attention was drawn to a really big guy to the girls side.
