A rich girl from vail is going on a once in a lifetime trip as a foreign exchange student to mistral the city of love. Where she stays with a farm family who coincidentally have a nephew living with them.
Ruby knows her family won't except him but...
Oscars POV "Do you want to go?" I asked her as she clinged to my arm. she suddenly looked up at me with a look of joy and excitement in her eyes and nodded.
"Ok then let's go." I grabbed her arm and we started walking towards the fair
Ruby's POV "Are you shure!" I asked kind of hesitant and stopping him.
"Well ya we still have time let's go." He said as he grabbed my hand and a mediately I could feel my heart start beating like crazy and I felt my face get warm. What's happening to me I say As we walked to the fair
Time skip "Wow it's soooo beautiful look at all the rides and food!" I say when we get there
"You hungry?" He asks leading me over to the food "enything look good ohhh I have the perfect things I'll be right back!" He says as he sits me down and goes off to get food
It was wired even though it had only been one day since I've meet Oscar but he seemed like an old friend. And like I had met him before and it was the first time I've seen him in a while. It was wired
"I'm back with food!" He says as he sits down next to me with two plates covered with napkins and a cup.
"What is that?" I asked as he slid the food over to me and unveiled what was underneath the napkins.
"Its twisty chips, an Alote, esketes,!" He says Waiting for a reaction.

(Esketes) "What the heck is this? Nope I'm not eating it unless I know what it is." I say as I turn my head away
"Oh Come on just try it it's delicious." He says as he grabbed one of the a-lotay you know what one of the corn on the cobs and started pointing it at me
"OK FINE!" I say as I take a bite out of it "WOW it's so go-."
"Come on say it!" He says to me with a hopeful look on his face.
"Nope nope I'm not saying it!" I yell back
"Oh come on please!!!!" He says back
"Ok fine it's delicious are you happy now!" I say as I turn back a little mad at him
"Yes yes I am!" I here him say as he laughs "ok let's eat."
Herring His laugh just melted my madness away and he just made me happy he's like my best friend.
The rest of the night we played games and went on rides and just had a ball of laughs together when we saw the carousel in the distance "Can we go on the carousel please!!" I pleaded with him looking at him with my Secret weapon aka my puppy dog eyes as I just stared When he broke. "Ok ok we can go!" And with that I just grabbed his hand and started booking it towards the carousel.
"Ok ok ruby wich one do you want!?" He asked as we stood in line "oooooo I want that one right there with the sapphire on the bridal!" I said pointing as it went by

Ok let's go they gave the man there tickets and ran towards the ones they wanted luckily making it just in time. "Haha Oscar you know something funny when I went on these rides as a kid I always made it a race and wich ever one was higher won in the end."
And with that they were off when they noticed kids reaching yup for a ring that was hanging down from the top. They looked at each other and knew they both had the crazy idea "Oh it's on!" Said Oscar as they both tried to grab it when I'm one fell swoop Oscar grabbed it. "Awww fine you win fair and square!" They both laughed as the ride came to a stop where they went to return the ring to the operator who gave them a choice of a prize where there was a small plush of a little black and white corgi that reminded her of her dog back home So of course Oscar chose that one and gave it to ruby.
They walked around for a bit when the fire work's started and they sat down on the hill in the grass as she rested her head on his shoulder cuddling in close to him as it got colder when he took off his jacket and placed it around her shoulders when she looked up in surprise at the jacket and back at him but she didn't question it and just went back to her peaceful state sitting next to him when he finally noticed that she had fallen asleep so he slowly picked her up bridal style and took her back to the house when he noticed they had been out past midnight before he went to bed he heard ruby mumbling in her sleep when he heard it "o-Oscar" she was mumbling his name "Goodnight ruby he whispered as he left the room when he flopped on the bed "I think I'm in love with an exchange student!" He admitted to himself but didn't mind s he fell into a deep sleep
