Three months later
Ring Ring
The sharp noise of the phone shook you
out of your thoughts as you lazily reached your hand out, grabbing your phone."Hello?"
"Y/N!! I'm coming over right now, I'm not letting you lay in a pile of your own tears anymore sis, let's go clubbing!" You rolled your eyes at the sound of your best friend, Naya, over the phone.
"No Naya, forget it...I don't think I'm ready.."
"Nuh uh I'll be there in 10, you better be ready, see you soon hoe," with that the call ended as you groaned in annoyance. You laid back down on your couch as you patiently waited for your friend to show up.
—
"Hey bitc- Y/N?? You aren't even ready! Get up we need to get you a new mans, you're officially single and ready to mingleeee, come on!" Naya wailed, jumping on you as she dragged your body off the couch letting you fall face first on the floor.
"Ow you dick what was that for??" Rubbing your forehead with your palms you grunted in annoyance for the second time and slowly got up, stomping towards your bedroom. Naya followed you laughing her head off as she made herself at home on your bed.
"I'm thinking you should totally go for that one black bodycon dress I bought you for your birthday last year, you've never worn it, rude bitch."
"Uh no, Naya you know I don't wear those type of clothes...I think i'll just wear some jeans and a cute top." Shuffling towards your closet you exaggerated a smile and wiggled your eyebrows with a pair of ripped light blue jeans and a strapless black top in hand.
"What do you say?"
"No, move let me find that dress." Naya shoved you to the side as she raided your closet, furiously searching for the black dress.
"I FOUND IT!! Go try it on NOW!" She pushed you into your walk in closet and slammed the door. Giggling at your best friends aggressive behaviour you felt a sense of gratefulness wash over you as you thought about how she had been trying her best to cheer you up these past three months after your breakup. You seriously loved her.
After a few minutes you had finally gotten the dress on you, sighing with relief you opened the door meeting the shocked face of your friend in front of you.
"GIRL you look POPPING, them boys ain't ready for you," smiling at her words you made your way to your varsity.
1 hour later
Naya and you had both finished with your makeup and were on your way to the club.
"I can't believe I let you take me to a club out of all places."
"You need some fun hun, we're going to get wasted tonight, just forget all about Taehyung just for today okay ??" Naya smiled reassuringly, placing her hands on yours.
"I'll try," smiling weakly back you bit your tongue, trying to repress the nerves that were rushing through your body.
—"We're here," the taxi driver spoke, stopping the car. Naya and you both bowed and thanked him as you paid him for his services. Slowly making your way past the guards reality hit you like a truck as you were face to face with the flashing lights and blaring music, stepping further into the bar. Your eyes skimmed the area, taking in the environment as you watched people shamelessly eating each other's faces in corners, girls and guys grinding on each other and some lying passed out on the floor.
"Wow..it's been awhile since I've been here," you swallowed nervously, looking at your friend for comfort.
"We should come here more often, let's go have fun!!" Naya immediately speed lined towards the bar ordering drinks, leaving you blankly standing by yourself. You had no idea where she had gone and you were sure that you wouldn't see her again until the next day. Sighing at the realisation you decided to just make the time you were here to be worth it as you began making your way to the bar.
"Hey can I please have a drink...?" gulping down your nerves you cringed at your awkwardness, you hadn't ordered a drink in awhile so you felt pretty rusty.
"She'll get a Margarita, and I'll just get a shot of tequila," slightly jumping at the sound of another next to you, you turned to meet the eyes of a young man. He was dressed in a pair of ripped black jeans and a monotone striped shirt, it was casual yet his perfectly toned body made the fit seem in a way dressy.
"I'm guessing you don't drink often?" the man chuckled, the tips of his eyes disappearing as a wide smile placed itself on his plump lips.
"O-Oh yes...it's not really my thing I guess.." fidgeting with your fingers you avoided his gaze, feeling the burning sensation of his eyes shamelessly checking you out.
"Same, I came here with a friend but god knows where he is now, probably off in a corner with a girl he met 2 minutes ago," you giggled at his comment as you replied explaining how you also came with your friend but she had left you.
"I guess we'll just try to have fun ourselves," you felt your cheeks burn up as the man winked at you, smirking as you turned away from him, collecting your drink.
"You're cute when you blush, what's your name baby girl?" You choked on your drink at the mention of the nickname as you patted your chest, attempting to calm down your heart.
"U-Uh my name's Y/N...whats yours?"
"Name's Jimin...hey it might sound creepy but can I have your number ? Let me take you out some day, make it a date."
Your eyes widened, contemplating your choices as your reasonable side screamed at you to stay away from strangers, but your wild side had had enough of you wallowing in your sadness, you needed to live your life, without Taehyung. Maybe it was an impulsive decision, maybe you were just over it, so you placed your hand out as he gave you his phone.
After you exchanged numbers you two talked for awhile, you started to grow significantly more comfortable around Jimin, maybe it was the alcohol lessening your nerves, giving you confidence but you had shamelessly flirted with him. Teasingly placing your hand on his thighs as you giggled obnoxiously at his jokes, smirking when he slightly panicked at your actions. You felt free, for the first time in three months, you were getting over it.
