Liam:
I was walking through the airport, trying to find my flight to Los Angeles to finally follow my dream Liam held me back from. It's not that he didn't support me, he was just too persistent on not letting me go. I was ready to fulfil them but wondered if I could do it without the support of my long lover.
I shook my head of the thought of him as I met the gate, they were already boarding the plane. The line was short, my feet carrying me quickly to be the last person to board. Before I could hand my ticket to the flight attended, I heard a yell.
"(Y/N)!!" My breath hitched, standing still as I hoped and pray he wouldn't- "There you are." I sighed, turning slowly.
Liam stood at least twenty feet from you, breathing heavily as if he had been running. He grasped a bouqet of flowers in his hands, petals fluttered outward.
"What are you doing here, Liam?"
"You know the answer, why are you asking like you don't?"
"Because you're a liar, how do I know you're telling the truth?"
"Why ask a question if you think I'll lie then?"
"Oh, shut up." He chuckled a little, gathering his composure as he took a step further. "Don't-"
"(Y/N), I am so sorry."
"It's too late for that, I need to go."
"It's never too late."
"This is not the time to be cheesy, Liam, really. I need to go."
"Two minutes is all I'm asking." I crossed my arms, looking to the flight attendant. She just shrugged, checking other people. I turned to Liam, narrowing my eyebrows.
"Fine."
"Well, for starters, I do realize how bad I hurt you by restricting you from going to LA. You want to become a writer, a-a successful writer and I did want you to be successful, but I was also being selfish telling you you had to do it my way. You have the right to become whoever however you want to. I respect you a lot, (Y/N), and I love you more than anything in the world. There is no reason behind why I harassed and ignored you. You deserve.. to be happy, and I will honor however your choose to be happy." He took a step closer, stretching out his arms to hand me his flowers. I was hesitant to take them, but wrapped my hand around it slowly, pulling them into my chest.
"Thank you, I really appreciate it."
"Yeah.." He sighed, rubbing his neck. "Oh! And uh, you-you forgot your ring at the apartment." He pulled out the silver ring he got me for our thired anniversary, a promise ring. My mouth was slightly agape as I took it from his palm, grasping it.
"You.. You didn't throw it away?"
"Why would I? It's yours to keep, (Y/N)." I bit my lip, looking through the passageway to the plane and back at Liam. He grinned a little as I turned. But the moment I turned my back to him, the ring so firmly grasped it could be creating an imprint by now, my heart panged and I didn't want that feeling ever again.
"I can't.." I breathed, turning back to him, his eyebrows narrowed, "I can't go."
"Y-You have to-"
"Not without you." I whimpered. Liam opened his mouth to speak, but my lips pressed to his before a noise could emit. I held his neck in one hand as I held the bouqet in the other. Liam cupped my waist as our lips rolled smoothly and slowly. When we seperated, a smile creased onto his face, pushing my hair behind my ear. I blushed as his lips lingered on my nose.
"I love you, (Y/N)."
"I love you, too, Li."
"Well, it's too late to buy another ticket but we could switch you to a later flight and get him one as well."
"Please do."
