"Mija get up your hair appointment is in an hour"said my mother.
"Oh shit"I said almost falling out of bed.
"LANGUAGE DASANI" my mother yells while I run into the bathroom.
"Okay so maybe if you take a 30 minute shower you would be there on time"I said to myself.
30 minutes later
"Okay your going to pick me up from my hair appointment right" I said to my mom as I walk out the door.
"Yes now hurry up and get inside the car " my mom said.
The ride was long considering there was lots of traffic and the place was 45 minutes away but we got there just in time for my appointment.
"Hello welcome the blue butterfly do you have an appointment" says the receptionist.
"Yes the appointment is for Dasani" I said as I watch her type in the computer.
"Oh you can head in the back Michelle is waiting for you" she said.
Michelle is a family friend so it was really easy to book this appointment.
"Oh my god Dasani I haven't seen you in years how are you doing missy"she said as she walked up to hug me.
"I'm doing good my mom said to tell you to call her and that you should I come by the house sometime" I said.
"I'm going to take her up on the offer what are you get you makeup do for" she asked.
"It's for prom" I said getting more excited by the minute.
"Oh my god your going to prom your making me feel old you were just in second grade"she said.
"wow you still remember my second grade graduation" I asked.
"Yes you were my little baby back then okay let me start your makeup " she said.
2 hours later
"everything looks so nice" I said in pure amazement.
"Thank you so much I tried my hardest to go with what you wanted" she said.
"This is exactly what I wanted thank you so much" I said giving her a hug.
"My mom is outside " I said breaking the hug.
"Tell your mom I want a ticket to your graduation" she said while smiling.
"I will" I said walking out the door.
later in the day.
"oh my god Mija you look amazing" my mothers said walking into the room while.
"thank you mama is Kayden or Nevaeh here yet "?
"no mija they can't be that far".
As soon as my mom finished that sentence there was a knock on the door.
" i will get it just finish putting your shoes on mija".
