CARSON'S POV

"Carson you sounded amazing in the bridge, can we do it again? I wanna try something." Mark asked from behind his drumkit.

"Yah sure, count us in?" I replied causing Alicia and Cherie to jump up from where they were sipping water and stand behind there mics.

Laughing at them, which caused Alecia to poke her tongue out in my direction, I asked everyone "y'all ready?"

"Ok, here we go, from the bridge peeps." Mark said in reply to everyone's nods and confirmations, causing me to chuckle at him, before he begun to count in.

"1,2,3,4" I heard and started playing what I did before in the bridge to 'Heart Attack'. Mark began to do the thing he wanted to try, which was just a more complicated version of what he was doing with added Toms and cymbals. I don't really know what he did, but it sounded amazing. Once we were done, Nick, who was standing in the corner gave a nod of approval to what we did, telling us we were sounding great.

"Dust, whatcha thinking about man?" I ask the frowning bass player, approaching him after placing my guitar down.

"Nothin'. Hey-"

"Ok guys, it's been a long day, you have all worked hard today and done a great job. So, I think that you guys can have the rest of the day off. Plus, without Demi being here, we can't really rehearse properly." Nick tells us all from the desk he is sitting at, interrupting Dustin's reply.

"Score! thanks bud" Alex shouts, fist pumping the air which causes everyone else to chuckle but me and Dustin. Dustin because he has a distant look on his face and me because I was curious for what he was going to say.

Once everyone quietens down, I glance at him again. "What were you going to say?"

"Nothing, I was just going to ask if you'd ever gotten a tat." He states, his eyes quickly drifting over the exposed parts of my body for any obvious ink.

"Why? You want one?" I question in reply.

"Yeah kinda. I dunno what I'd get though."

"Then you shouldn't get one yet. Your first tattoo should be something your sure about. Something you not going to back out on." I replied after thinking for a moment.

"True. Maybe one day I guess." He replies. "Oi, wanna go out for drinks later while we still can?"

Ever since I got the ID, Dustin and I had been actually going out quite often- meaning we'd gotten pretty close in the weeks we'd actually known each other for. He was a guy I could trust to look out for me, and same for me to him.

"Don't have to ask-"

"I'm not doing anything tonight, so in celebration for making it this far and being one step closer to going on fricken tour, I say we celebrate!" Cherie exclaims loudly to the group from where she is unplugging her mic, interrupting my reply.

I glance at Dustin raising my eyebrows. Do we go? After a silent conversation (another thing we'd gotten the hang of- you know, considering clubs and stuff are loud and all), he gives me a slight nod. He's right, we should all be doing some bonding.

"Yeah I'm in. Now Charlie's out of town, nights are kinda boring." I reply to her, looking up from where I'm placing my guitar in its case, around at everyone else who are mostly agreeing.

"Sorry I can't guys, me and Michelle are going out for dinner" Alex replies referring to his fiancé.

"Ok so everyone but Alex? Cool, come over around 7 I will send a text to Demi to see if she wants to come and Alex, if you guys aren't busy afterwards, come over and bring Michelle. Lord knows we like her better than you." Cherie tells us all, exaggerating the last sentence with a smile. Alex smiles and rolls his eyes, muttering something under his breath.
