Soonyoung: Love and Pain

Warning, might have a sad ending.

You opens your eyes waking up, you look at the clock and it says 6:00am, you look towards the windows with the curtains covering the view of the outside, you scan the room looking if there is a certain person with you there, but no you are alone inside, your gaze fall on your hands with dextrose attached, and that is when you remembered, you are in the hospital.

You have been in the hospital for 4 months now, since you have lung cancer, but there is one thing you know that the doctor have told you but you beg for your doctor to keep it between the two of you, and so your boyfriend and family does not know about it.

You hated yourself for having this disease, because you are now a graduating student in college and now you stopped cause you are always in the hospital, and you keep on saying that you are giving your family and boyfriend a hard time.

Soon, after sn hour of you waiting and thinking of your past life before you got this cancer, your boyfriend arrives, you smile and he smiles at you, you can see the sadness in his smile, "Soonyoung...", you said as your boyfriend hugs you, "Hey Y/N, how's my princess doing?", he said and sat on the chair beside your bed, "Im fine... how's school?", you said and feel hurt for keeping it to him, "Heh, stressful but great, anyways im going back here later at night after school, wait for me ok?", he said and smiles, you feel a stinging pain in your heart as you see him smile.

(Flashback)
*A week ago*
"Y/N, im going to be straight to the point...you only have a week, we're sorry that we cant save you...", your doctor said as he sighs, you look down as tears flows from your eyes, "Please... keep this from my family and from anyone, just dont tell anyone please doctor...", you begs and your doctor nods and leave you alone in your room, as you are alone your tears burst out all, 'Im sorry mom and dad, im sorry Soonyoung.....im sorry if im weak....', you said to yourself as you cries more.

Without you knowing, as you and your doctor talks, your boyfriend was already outside your room, he twisted the doorknob but as he heard your doctor talking about you only having a week, he closed the door slowly and leave the hospital crying, he does not know what to do, he does not want to show you that he was weak too, 'Its ok Y/N, you have to fight, we will fight together, i know you wont leave me and your parents....', he thought as he ride his car, but even he wanted to stay strong, he still planned that next week at your last day, he will prepare a date.

Tomorrow comes and Soonyoung goes back to the hospital to talk to your doctor and visits you too, as he enters your doctor's office he sat down, "Doctor, i need your answer now, can i take Y/N out not too far from here at her last night?", he said and your doctor widened his eyes, "I dont know how you knew it but yes you may, i understand it, but do know that...its just until 9 to 10pm.... I suggest you talk to her parents too.", your doctor said and Soonyoung thank him and headed to your room.

After visiting you, he decided to talk to your parents, "Auntie, Uncle...please dont let her know that you guys know, and lets just make her happy until her last day.", he said as your mom cries and your dad comfort her, "Thank you Soonyoung...", your dad said and pats his shoulder, "Uncle, can she spend her last night with me?", he asks and your parents nodded.

It was dismissal time and Soonyoung asks his friends to help him arrange the garden at the back of the hospital, "Hoshi, its gonna be alright, we're always here for you.", Jisoo said as he pats Soonyoung's shoulders, "Thanks to all of you.", he said as he smiles bitterly, he take one last look at the fixed garden, there was a mat on the grass where you both will sat, foods, projector so he can show you a slideshow of your pictures with him and your parents, not to mention there is also a great view of the night sky.

The clock says, 7pm, and you patiently wait for your boyfriend, soon enought he arrives with a wheelchair, "Hosh! Oh wait... are we going out?", you guess and he nodded, "You know that its not allowed.", you said and giggles, "Dont worry i already tell your doctor about this, now come on!", he said as he assist you to the wheelchair.

'Soonyoung my love....I hope you stay happy after tonight, i dont wanna leave you and my parents but i dont know what to do, i have fight this cancer but i guess im just too weak, Im sorry for keeping you this, just do remember that i love you so much.', you thought as he push your wheelchair.

He brought you to the garden on the back of the hospital, your jaws hung open as you saw the prepared picnic date, "Soo..Soonyoung what is this?", you asks in disbelief as he helps you sat down to the mat, "This is my last night with you baby, i want it to be memorable.", he said as he looks down and back to you smiling, you widened your eyes, "How, How...", you didnt finish your words as you burst out crying, "Shh...its ok, we are going to make your last night happy ok?", your boyfriend reassures you as he lay your head on his shoulder, "You parents know about it too...", he said and you just cried more feeling your lungs gets weaker and weaker.

An hour pass and you check on the time on Soonyoung's phone as he prepare the projector, the time says 8:02pm, which reminds you that you have less than one hour with him, he saw your frown and smiles, "Hey, what's the matter baby?", he asks as he grabs the remote and sat besides you, "Less than an hour Hosh....less than.", you said and tears escapes your eyes, he smiles at you, "Dont worry, its going to be fine... lets just watch this.", he said as he plays the slideshow.

"Remember that, that time we go to the amusement park with your parents! And you suddenly curse due to losing multiple times in a game, haha that was back in our senior years!", he said excitedly as you both recall it  and both laughs, you watched more photos and it come to an end but thats what you thought until your parents appear on the screen.

"Y/N, my dear lovely girl, we are so thankful to have you, we thank you for being strong and fighting for us, just do know that everything is fine....", your dad said but being cut off by his tears, "And remember that we love you so much, watch us from up there ok?", your dad finishes and your mom removes her handkerchief from her mouth and sobs hard, "Y/-N, we're gonna miss, y-you, I l-lo-love you so much!", you mom said and cries hard again, then they smiles and the video ended.

"Mom! Dad! I love you too...", you said and hugs Soonyoung as you cries on his chest, then he sings to you, you can hear his voice cracks as he fights to not cry, "Baby...remember this, even if you leave and rest, do know that you always have a place here in my heart, and if ever i will love again, it wont be the same as the love i gave you, and i will miss you a lot, but its fine, i know you will always be there watching for me, i promise i will be happy so you won't worry, thank you for everything Y/N, i love you so much baby.", he said and he kisses your forehead.

"Hosh... it feels hard to breath!", you complains as you cries, he kisses your forehead again and pull your chins up and pecks your lips, "Its ok, everything's gonna be fine.", he said as tears roll down his cheeks, "Soonyoung.... Please always remember me, i love you so much... Im sorry.", you said as you feel your eyes getting heavier and heavier but you fights it open, Soonyoung kisses you and you kiss back.

He suddenly feel your lips not moving, he opens his eyes and he saw you not moving, his tears falls continuosly, as he knew you have gave up and that you are gone, he kisses your forehead again and hugs you, "Y/N.... i miss you already, i love you so much!", he said and cries hard.
