-Untitled-

Present day.

'One day, I'll be tired'
'I'll stop fighting'
'I'm just going to---'

"Can I sit? Wala na kasing ibang upuan" A manly voice asked.

I didn't bother to look up.

I just nodded and continue writing.

'I'm just going to die'
'But knowing all of you'

"But knowing all of them. What, Kei?" I whispered to myself.

Ugh! Here it is again.

I raised my head and look at the man sitting infront of me. He's still fixing his paper and pens.

I wonder what he'll do here.

I look at the ceiling. Thinking.

Minutes passed. Wala pa ring pumapasok sa utak ko.

I close my eyes and sigh.

"U-uh, Hi?"

I opened my eyes and look at him blankly, then to the ceiling once again.

"I-i am Jay, by the way."

"Yeah. I'm Kei."

Ugh! What should be the next line Kei? C'mon. They are what?

Ugh!

"What a-are you writing?" I look at him again, he's looking at my notebook, so I closed it.

"Nothing. Mind your own business." I coldly answered

He looked at his right, probably embarrassed. "S-sorry"

"It's okay." I stand up and fix my things. "See you around" I turned my back at him and walk straight to the exit.

It's quarter to six in the afternoon. People are still busy doing their everyday routine.

Aren't they tired? Paulit-ulit na lang ang lahat.

"Okay. Where to go today Kei?" I asked myself.

Aish! Why the hell did I went out of the library? Ayan tuloy! I don't know where to go at all.

I don't want to stay at our house. People there---I mean, wala na palang nakatira dun. They're all busy.

I walk away from the town's library. Walking yet no direction.

I reached the towns ravine. No humans can be seen in this part of the town. I sat down and stare at the sun as it goes down.

How I wish that life can always be this peaceful. This quiet. This refreshing.

But who am I kidding? This is life. There's no such thing.

I smiled. End is not that far.

When the sun finally hide, I stand up.

Maybe I can go back now in the library? It's 24 hours open. I can stay there tonight.

"Kei, andito ka ulit?" The Librarian asked.

'Kita mo nang nandito diba?' Joke.

"Ah, opo. Okay lang po ba?" I shyly asked.

"Kelan ba naging hindi?" She replied, slightly laughing.

"Sige po"

I walk towards the vacant table at the back part of the library and sat.

I get my notebook as well as my small laptop and started to write.

One day, I'll be tired
I'll stop fighting
I'm just going to die
But knowing all of you.|

I typed the piece I'm trying to complete earlier, but end up erasing it because I don't know how to continue.

Ugh! Why does my life needs to be like this?!

I remove my eye glasses and bury my face on my palms.

I wipe my tears.

End is not that far Kei. You'll be fine.

There's a heavy feeling
inside my chest
Like I'm drowning
I need a life vest
But he will never come
To save me from this test
No one will let me
To have some rest.|

"Ang bilis mo namang mag type" a familiar voice said.

I look at him. He's the boy earlier.

I wipe the falling tears, once again.

"O-oh. Sorry, I didn't know that you're having a moment. I-I'm going now. S-sorry." He stuttered.

"It's okay. You can sit, if you want. Just don't mind me." I assured.

"Do you need some one to talk to?" He asked.

Yes. Before, I need a listener. But now? Nah. Never mind. I'm already used to it.

"No. I'm fine. By the way, I'm sorry if I walked out earlier, and for being rude."

"Really? You walked out earlier because of me? Luh. Akala ko may pupuntahan ka lang talaga"

Ay. Ano ba yan.

"Oh."

"You're Kei, right?" He asked.

I nodded. What's his name again?

"I'm Jay. Seems like you forgot" he shyly added.

"No! Alam ko kaya pangalan mo. Naunahan mo lang ako."

He laugh.

"Okay. Let's pretend that it's true."

I pouted. Ang bad naman ng lalaking 'to.

"I have a question" I said, changing the topic "Ngayon lang kita nakita dito. Are you new here?"

"Ah oo. Kahapon lang actually. Ngayon lang ako nag-gala dito. Ang ganda pala dito. My public library."

"Yeah."

"Uh...hindi ka pa ba uuwi?"

"Hindi pa." Baka hindi na "ikaw ba?"

"Hmm...mamaya na lang siguro, and tahimik sa apartment ko e"

"Sige bahala ka"

I closed my laptop and get a book from the shelf.

Aside from writing nonsense words, I also love reading books.

I'm busy reading but I'm starting to feel uncomfortable because of Jay's stare.

"Jay! Don't stare. It's rude."

"I don't know Kei. I feel like I've seen you before."

"Oh. Really? You're not familiar to me."

He shakes his head. "Sorry"
