stephen screamed as electricity took over his body.

"come on, doctor. don't be stubborn." bogdan taunted. "just tell me where your iron hero keeps his arc reactor." the russian smirked grimly when he mentioned stephen's nickname for tony.

"i..." stephen paused. "i won't tell you!"

bogdan scoffed, frowning at the doctor.

"for god sake, stark probably has thousands of those lying around. it won't change anything if you just tell me!" the russian spat.

"i don't care, i'm not telling you." stephen glared at his captor.

"включите устройство на этот раз на более высокий уровень." the russian ordered one of the HYDRA agents.

(translation: "put the device on, this time, on a higher level" i don't know if this is accurate since i used google translate)

stephen gritted his teeth as his shock collar was activated.

"come on, doctor. we don't have all day." bogdan smiled grimly. "just tell me, and all of this can stop."

stephen just screamed in response.

that's all he could do.

"we need to try again, sir."

tony groaned, as the forcefield didn't deactivate.

he was tense, only thinking about stephen.

"tony, it's okay. we'll get stephen back." rhodey said, reassuringly. "how you guys doing down there?"

"we've almost got to all of them." natasha replied as she kicked one of the HYDRA guards.

"we're just trying to open this stupid forcefield!" tony exclaimed, blasting the forcefield with his laser.

"mr stark, i suggest that maybe if we blast at the same time, the forcefield could break." vision chimed.

"okay...let's try that." tony sighed, readying his blaster.

rhodey, vision and he all aimed and blasted at the forcefield at the same time.

"it worked!" FRIDAY exclaimed, causing tony's heart to float.

bogdan punched stephen, but the doctor showed no emotion.

the russian had stopped using the device a while ago, and decided to stick with punching instead.

"sir, the forcefield has been broken." one of the HYDRA guards informed bogdan.

stephen's eyes lit up, knowing exactly that the avengers had arrived.

bogdan cursed under his breath, turning away from stephen.

"don't let any of them in." bogdan muttered to the HYDRA guards.

he turned back to stephen, smiling wickedly.

"looks like we have visitors." bogdan chirped. "why don't you answer my question, before i kill them all..."

the russian pulled out a gun and pointed it at stephen.

"and you!"
