Audrey was weak. She had to go home straight away. Dot and Lotta offered to take her home but I insisted. I told them to go have fun while I carry her home. I tried to hide my eagerness. Dot raised her brow and said, "Are you sure?" I was well as sure. I picked up Audrey and walked away.

Dots P.O.V

My ship has sailed...

Narrators P.O.V (A.K.A me)

Melvin opened the door to Audrey's room and went inside. He carefully laid Audrey on the bed and just sat there feeling tears stream in his eyes. Audrey opened her eyes. "Thanks, Melvin," she said. Melvin looked up and gave Audrey a hug. Audrey was surprised by the hug but she gave one back. "I could have lost you," Melvin said with tears in his eyes. Audrey started to turn bright pink. Then she did the thing she always wanted to. She pushed Melvin back and brought him in again, this time on the lips. They kissed. Audrey let go first blushing like crazy. Melvin was smiling ear to ear. He held Audrey's hand. "Ok, how about we go back to the lake. This time as a couple." Melvin said standing up. Audrey pulled him back. "I'd rather stay here with you." She whispered. And she pulled him in for another kiss
