jae-eun was in herhouse alone, laying on her bed and staring at her ceiling, as jaehyun went to his best friend's house.
although she was thinking about how to help minji with her relationship at starbucks, she could only think about how hyuck had lied to her.

she sat up and sighed. she was gonna have to talk to him about it. she's learned to not care about him dating multiple girls as long as they were single. making people cheat isn't cute.
she grabbed her phone and decided to call him.
calling "hyuck🧡"...
HYUCK🧡: "yeah."
ME: "i'm bored."
HYUCK🧡: "i'll be there."
ME: "yee."
call with "hyuck🧡" ended...
jae-eun forced herself out of bed and down the stairs to wait for hyuck.

the doorbell rang.
JAE-EUN: "bro, what took you so l—."
she cut herself off as she saw the food in his hands.
JAE-EUN: "might as well eat before i confront him."
she thought.
they ate and talked about random stuff, jae-eun not really putting much effort into the conversation as she thought about minji's situation.
DONGHYUCK: "what's wrong?"
hyuck asked, noticing his best friend being off this whole time.
DONGHYUCK: "even your 'yee' on the phone was sadder than usual."
