Chapter 7: Lunch with Principal Love

Mister Angel responds, "Okay. Let me know if you want me to help you with anything. Have a nice day Principal Love." He turns to exit the principals office.

"Okay. Bye Mister Angel." Principal Love puts me down on a couch before getting back to work.

Fast forward to lunchtime, the school bell rang as Principal Love stands to check the time on his phone. In school, lunch is usually around eleven-thirty and ends at around twelve o' clock.

He looks at me, "Hey Mi-Chan. Are you hungry? I can go get you something."

I pop up from the blanket as he was seen surprised before smiling, "Okay. Be careful with all of the surroundings okay?"

He stops at the doorway, "Wait." He turns to me.

Principal Checkers was seen in front of him, "Hey Principal Love."

Principal Love jumps before responding, "Oh."

He chuckles, "Hey Principal Checkers. I didn't see you there."

Principal Checkers smiles, "Sorry. I wasn't trying to scare you. Also, how's Mi-Chan?"

Principal Love responds, "Oh. She seems to be doing well right now."

Principal Checkers looks at me, "Hey Mi-Chan. Are you about to have lunch with Principal Love?"

I nodded, "Oh, Principal Checkers. Can you please watch Mi-Chan while I get me and her some lunch?"

Principal Checkers responds, "Of course. You want me to hang out with you?"

"It's okay. I don't want your wife to be upset with you not hanging around with her."

Principal Checkers frown, "Yeah. She really hates it when I'm not with her."

"Okay. I'll be right back. Mi-Chan, be good for Principal Checkers." Principal Love left the principals office.

Later after he returned to his office with each arm of his a lunch tray with different meals. Mine's a tray with a turkey sandwich along with a side of apple slices and milk. Principal Love's tray has a sushi bowl with his side of a banana and a carton milk.

Principal Checkers turns to him, "Oh! Hey Principal Love. You're back."

He puts down the trays on his desk as he turns to him and smiles, "Sorry to keep you waiting. I had a hard time deciding today."

"It's okay. Some meals that're given out can be hard to decide."

I carefully get off the couch as I crawl towards Principal Love as he was seen looking at me, "It's okay Mi-Chan. I'll make sure to give it to you."

Principal Checkers stands, "No no. You can give it to her now. I'm getting ready to leave for lunch."

"Oh. Okay then. Take care of yourself."

Principal Checkers hugs him before rubbing his head, "Bye Principal Love. Take care." He left the principals office as he closes the door.

Principal Love looks at me, "Okay Mi-Chan, let me get you--"

He heard a knock on the door, "Come in."

A doorknob turned only to find Gina, Alice, and Heaven at the doorway, "Oh, hey guys. Are you here to hang out with Mi-Chan?"

Alice responds, "We are. Candy-Kun went home early. He wasn't feeling too good today."

Principal Love was seen with his mouth covered, "Oh no. I hope he's doing better."

Heaven enters the principals office with his lunch tray, "I was told he was beaten bad enough to the point where he threw up."

Principal Love gasped, "Really?! Who?!"

Gina responds, "It was his own nurse. Nurse Halo. In fact, it wasn't the first time. He would be beaten if she doesn't get her way. Worst of all, she threatens that she'll take Nero away from him if he tells anyone. He's in the hospital now, though he's expecting to do okay."

Principal Love seen shocked while I was seen crawling towards Gina to hug her. He was later seen falling to the ground sobbing his heart out.

"Oh Candy-Kun. I can't believe you've been through something so horrible." He sobs again.

Alice walks up to him as she gives him a bear hug, "It's okay. He's not going to get hurt no more."

Gina puts own her lunch tray down on a table, "Hey guys. It's best if we go ahead and eat lunch. If we waste more time, we won't be able to finish lunch before the next bell rings."

Principal Love wipes away his tears, "You're right. I'm getting kinda hungry anyways."

Heaven smiles, "Alice is right. All he needs to do is to tell someone, even if he gets hurt in the end. But you know what. He'll be safe with someone that'll take good care of him."

Principal Love and Alice stands as he smiles, "Well, I guess you're right. Let's dig in."

Everyone looks at one another smiling before sitting down and eat lunch.
