Its All Starts

(PHONE RINGING)
"Hello! Oher residency" said John picking up the phone.

"John, its Will. Have you figured out your partner for the prom night? Even Al has got a date. What are you waiting for? It’s either now or never. Go tell her what you feel."

"I think you're right. Bye Will. I'll let you know if something comes up." said John and hung the up the phone.

(John thinking.....I must go and ask her today. I’ll confess my love. I hope it doesn't get awkward.)

[ John Oher was a very generous boy not too bright but smart enough. He’s a good football player and was a defender for his team. He likes typical teen music and movies.
Wilfred went by the name Will among his friends and was a wise lanky guy. His first love was books and was good at studies. He is a tall guy with a shady beard and black hair, more in studies and a little into everything.
Al was short for the name Albert Brown. He’s a handsome blonde who loves to tease girls but is very loyal. If you’re looking for a partner, he’s the perfect one. He love gaming and technology and even does typical hacking stuff for friends.
John, Will and Al were friends since childhood.]

After his conversation with Will, John went to his garage and got on his bike. (Noise of bike starting)
(Doorbell ringing)
“Will you be my date for the prom night?”
“OMG!” said an unfamiliar voice.

(ALARM GOING OFF)

(JOHN) Oh! I’m in my bed. That was quite a crazy dream but it felt so real. But who was the girl I don’t remember her face. Ah! Its 6:30AM already, can’t be late on the very first day.

“Whoa! just made it on time”

(He had joined the most renowned high school of the city, St. Mount Carvel)

“Hey man! How are you?” said a familiar voice.
“Al, my boy, I’m doing great. What about you?”
“Nothing new, John. Just got back from a long boring vacation.”

(BOTH CHUCKLE)

[ANNOUNCEMENT] All the first year students please advance to the auditorium for the orientation.

“Lets go and find Will.” Said John.

[After a long inspiring speech delivered by the HOD, principle and professors, Will, Al and John are standing under a tree checking the flock of crowd they would face for the next two years.]

“There are many well known people here.” said Will.
Al replied, “Yeah, good for you as you are going to get busy. As for me I’m looking forward to check out the other half of the flock.
John said looking at his watch, “Damn look at the time. I got to go or I’ll be late for the sports club meet.”
“Yeah, see you later.” said Will and Al.

(HOD) Welcome students, I am looking forward to see how you all perform in this campus. Now I would like to ask the president of the sports department, Samuel Hughes to preside further.

[John thinking….What a great place it is. I would love to play football and make new friends.]

(A beautiful girl crosses him)

(JOHN) Why, isn’t she Rose. And she is the only one I saw in my dream.

A girl to Rose, “Rose, you are late.”

(JOHN) So it is her. She is Rose, my childhood neighbor. Will she recognize me? Would I be able to talk to her?

Rose saw John and gently gave a smile only to leave with her friends leaving John to think whether she recognized him or not.

[Rose Walker was a wise girl with blonde hairs good at studies and sports. She has been the captain of the winning team of the interschool handball tournament since two years. She was quite innocent but had an air of being important. She loves music and travelling.
John and Rose were neighbors in their childhoods and were quite good friends. John had a crush on her since then.]

It being the first day of the school, students were allowed to explore the campus. It was quite a huge campus. As soon as you’d enter the gate, there was a huge ground for different outdoor games like football, hand ball, lawn tennis, cricket etc. There was a walkway right through the center of the ground to the main campus building. The building was so huge and facilitated about 58 classrooms, two huge libraries, and five different experimental labs, each for a different subject, the staff rooms and many other offices.
Behind the main campus building, there was a marathon ground and three more buildings. Out of the three, one was the boys’ dorm and the one on the opposite side was the girls’ dorm.
The third building was divided into two parts, one had the swimming area and the other part was for indoor games like badminton, table tennis etc.

After exploring the campus, Al, Will and John went to the canteen which was located on the later part of the main building.

Will said, “It’s awesome, man. Even the seniors are very cooperative and our lab equipments are top notch too. Al replied, “Well not all the seniors seem so cooperative. I heard about a group by the name The Bulls. They bully the first year students to entertain themselves. You don’t want to mess with them.
John was in his own thoughts when Al and Will notice it and asked, “Why are you so quite man? Missing your mom already?”
All the three of them laughed and John suggested, “Let’s have some tacos.

After having their snacks, they went to their rooms. Will as usual went on reading some books, while Al started playing games on his mobile phone. John was thinking about his encounter with Rose. He didn’t even know when he fell asleep.
