11. Mate in Heaven

."W-wait!" Yoo Jung shouted. Making Bogum stop his tracks.

"What is it?" Bogum frowned.

"We're too late." Yoo Jung sighed.

"What?"

"They're already at the present Bangtan's dorm.

"How...?" Bogum's frown became deep.

"I.. do-don't know what to do.. How can we stop this?"

Earlier

The past Bangtan made it to Bogum's house (in 1984) to find the key to heaven.

As the boys rummage through the sorcerer's things and rooms. Jin suddenly stopped his tracks as another vision filled his mind.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"Y-yan Jing..." they all uttered in surprise.

Yan Jing giggled. "Silly, of course I'll be here. I'm dead."

Jeongguk clenched his fists and his tears welled up.

"I..." he utters..

"We..." he utters again.

"I know, you all missed me. After all, it's just been hours since I died. And you flew back to Korea. And Jimin found out about this new dimension. And technically you're here not for me. But for fate."

The boys can't help but their eyes filled with tears and hugged the girl. Their mate.

"How did you find out?"

"I always watch out for you guys," Yan Jing smiled.

"But..."

"Boys... There isn't much time left." Yan Jing began to talk serious.

The boys pulled away and listened to what Yan Jing has to say.

"Look, the other me's fate is getting closer. But she hadn't met you guys yet."

"So?"

"Who will protect me?" Yan Jing responded sarcastic.

"What I mean was 'so what are we gonna do? Our mate?'" Jimin snickers.

"The other you's had to know you and warn them. I think they already know her. I mean me."

"But.. the world isn't what we used to live like before." Taehyung said.

"How does the other Yan Jing love the other us? Seven? In this era. No more magic. No more mates..." Namjoon said.

"Fate will answer that." Yan Jing said then disappeared.

Jin opened his eyes and slightly squints his eyes because of the blinding light he first saw. As it becomes clearer. He widened his eyes as he saw a perfect paradise.

He looked around him and saw the other boys.

"We will see our dead mate here."

"Of course. This is heaven after all." Yoongi replied sarcastic.

"What are you guys doing here?"

"Y-yan Jing..." they all uttered in surprise.

Yan Jing giggled. "Silly, of course I'll be here. I'm dead."

The boys sniffed and started to look for the said goddess.

It wasn't that hard because there was a big castle ahead of them. Using their inhuman speed, the vampires were there in no time.

"Who are you looking for?" A beautiful angel asked in the doorsteps.

The castle were white and had a some gold touches in it. Indeed it was heaven. There was a fountain of wine beside the doors and the younger hyungs wanted to taste it.

"We are looking for fate." Namjoon spoke. The angel gasped as she realized it wasn't angels, they were alive vampire being.

"Goodness! How come you all are here?" She asked, opening the door and letting the vampires in. "Oh! Eat some food! You all must be tired."

The maknae line looked at each other before deciding to say, "Uh, no thank you."

"I'll just call Fate. You all stay and wait at the fountain." The angel motioned the vampires to the fountain nearby. As they look, the water was clear and you can clearly see fishes swimming.

Taehyung's eyes glowed at the sight. He leaned down to catch a fish like a bear.

"Tae." Namjoon called out as a warning.

"Oh he can eat it, Namjoon." A woman's voice was heard behind their backs and they all looked behind.

It was the angel earlier and she was with a pretty maiden with a flowing pastel pink dress. Her hair was long and had a flower crown.

"I'm Fate." She smiled at them. "And I believe I set up this meet up."

"O-oh.." the vampires uttered and was about to bow.

"Oh shush!" Fate gasped. "I have tea inside. Let's talk then?"

The vampires looked at each other and back to Fate.

With a determined heart, they nodded.
