CHAPTER 5

_AUTHOR P.O.V_

Rosé:" I'm sorry to interrupt, I was just coming to ask if you want drink coffee and ended up listening to your conversation. I know it's bad to eavesdrop but I want to know the truth. It hurts to know that you are all hiding things from me. It makes me feels like I'm a stranger to you all."

Mom:" No, my daughter you are not a stranger. I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark."

She than hugged Rosé tightly.

Mom:"Actually..-"

Y/N:"After you ran away from the church..... "

****FLASHBACK****

Mum:" Where is Rosé?, Y/N, Answer me!!! "

Y/N:" She ran away "

Dad:" What are you talking about?"

Y/N:" She didn't want to marry, so she ran away from this because she love someone else. "

Mom grabbed Y/N's shoulder and shook her.

Mom:" And you didn't do anything? "

Y/N:" I helped her. Undeniably, I think she is where she supposed to be right now."-she said without hesitation.

Mr and Mrs Jeon just came when they were having the conversation. Things got pretty messed up.
Mr Jeon and Mr Park aka Y/n's dad told Y/N the actual truth.

Mr Park: Y/n ah, me and my friend, Mr Jeon had once borrowed money from the bank in order to start our own business but separately. We were supposed to repay the loan along with interest after 15 years but during these fee years, we forgot about it and kept on focusing about improving our business and live a luxurious life with our family."

Mr Jeon:" And that was the mistake we done that we are regretting for. If we focused on how to repay back the loan instead on ourselves, we would not have to take such decisions. The moment we got to remember bit was this year when we met in a business conference, meaning we have only one year to arrange the whole money."

Mrs Park:" That's why your dad and your uncle decided to merge both companies since that's the only way to be able to repay back the loan on such a short time. The main reason for merging was because another company is willing to coporate and offer more money only if your dad and uncle's company is joined together. And on the financial ground, it might help us to cover 3/4 of the loan, which is very advantageous for us."

Y/N:"But why the marriage?"-she asked reluctantly.

Mr Park:" We decided to arrange a marriage between the families in order to show people the connection. We wanted people to know that our companies are merging together not because of financial problems, because if the people knew about it, it could affetc the business reputation and that's why we announced it publicly."

Mrs Park:" There weren't any other way out to gain such a big amount of money. Merging is the only solution and if we fail to repay, the bank might take over our properties."

After listening to her parents and uncle, Y/N understand the situation but it was like a big snowball hit her. Y/N understand that if her parents fail to repay the loan it might make it worse for them to live a happy life. Y/n was devastated.

The room was filled with a quiet atmosphere. Everyone was thinking what to do. Their minds were full of burden, because if the marriage do not take place, the society would know the truth and would probably make the investors to retake their words back which could lead to serious issues.

Mr Park:" There is only one solution."

The rest look at Y/n's dad with a little hope but when he said the solution, Y/n was shocked and taken back.
