CHAPTER 1

" Ughhh , why can't i have Lea's skinny body ? Or her shining blonde hair .. It's like when god created her , he gave her  all the good genes , and left me with nothing, She's only a year older than me and still  looks like she could be my stepmom who married my dad only cause he's rich "...I think while i'm looking at my imperfections in the mirror.

I take some baby lotion and start applying it on my sensitive skin, why are my cheeks always so red ?

"Can you move, i need the bathroom"- Lea asks
"Can't you just go on the other bathroom , downstairs, please? " I respond while looking at her detailed outfit.

"No all my makeup is in there , you go downstairs" she says.

I didn't wanna fight with her before going on this road trip so i went downstairs , it's not like that lotion was gonna do anything good to my face either way.

"AMELIAAAAA " - i hear mom calling me from
the kitchen . I go walking slowly .

"What mom?"

"Are you guys ready ? Lets go."

"Yes , Im ready . Lea is taking forever filling in her brows . "I respond.

I sit in the car next to my little brother , Bruno.
He is probably wishing that Lea was sitting next to him and not me , they both always have so much fun together , i thought while i look for good music on my phone to be my friend for this long looong road trip.

"Move , i wanna sit next to Bruno " says lea with her nerve -wracking voice.

I just move without saying a thing , cause again , mom has been working two shifts just to afford this trip . Im not gonna be the one that ruins it.

I look at my little black purse that only has white old headphones , while lea is holding a see-through bag with like 5 pink lipglosses.

Mom finally  started driving . She looks so happy that she's being able to afford this trip for us . Ever since dad died we haven't really been able to go anywhere further
than the grocery's store.

" Are you guys excited " mom asks smiling.

" YEEEEEEESSSS " Me , Bruno and Lea respond at the same time.

Mom starts playing a really shitty song from the 90's that i don't know the name of, i put on my headphones before my ears start bleeding . It's 6:58 in the morning . Im cold.
