Looking up at the sky, she pondered
Did people know God is a lie?
They say He's almighty and perfect
But if so, then why does he abandon so many?
They say it's because he believes we need to face trials.
Trials of agony, where we'd prefer to do his job and do away with ourselves.
He sounds more like the Devil, this God of theirs.
He only wants to see how far he can push some of us, before we fall and bail.
Off the roof, off the cliff. Wherever we lived, we would make sure to no longer exist.
