A/N: Sorry for being inactive for so long here's the book I promised :) I'll update as long as you comment on the book, that way I know I'm not just writing this for myself because that can get a little boring sometimes. In this story Lena is G!P, I'm going to try and make long chapters.

- Lena's POV -

I don't know how I'm going to make it to Kara's on time. I was supposed to meet up with her for Sister's Night with her, Alex, and Maggie, but I'm getting completely swamped with paperwork from L-Corp. I might actually have to crash on the couch in my office tonight to even attempt to get all of this done in time. Right now it is... 4 o'clock and Sister's Night starts at 6:30, I don't think I'm going to make it.

Just like that, I see the crest of the Zor-El family. I don't know how I got so lucky

"Hey, I just wanted to check in-- Oh my Rao what is all of this." She exclaims motioning towards the piles and piles of paperwork on my desk.

"It's probably what's going to keep me from getting to Sister's Night tonight I'm sorry Kara."

"Come onnnnn you're always busy!" she states dragging out her words. "What if I helped you?" With her question, an idea popped into my head.

"Actually that might work... you can use your speed to sort through the files. The ones that need a signature in one pile, memos in another, spreadsheets, anything with either combination and miscellaneous." I explain. "If you can do that I can be out by 6 and have time to get ready!: I state obviously excited.

"Definitely just give me a minute or two and I should be able to fight through this monster."

"Okay, I'm going to go get us coffee." I made an excuse to leave the room I can't help but ache a little when I see her in super speed mode all it does is remind me of how fast she could move on me... When I get back I see the 5 piles neatly stacked with the signature ones at the base of my desk.

"Thank you so much, Kara, I really didn't want to have to miss tonight," I say repositioning myself at my desk.

"It's okay I didn't want you to miss it either." Moving closer to me she whispers. "But you can make it up to me later tonight if you want." Chills run down my spine but when I turn to look at her all I see are my window drapes flapping in the wind.

-------------------------------------------------

By now the time was 9:30 at night right after Sister's Night. Alex decided to leave about ten minutes earlier when she noticed how drunk Maggie had gotten. They made a rule when if you don't win the game you have to take a shot. While Maggie and Alex took a taxi to their apartment, Kara was cleaning up while Lena poured them both a glass of wine. the only intention was to loosen herself up before they were alone for too long.

"Thanks for today." Lena praised.

"Its no problem Lee, you're my girlfriend after all, anytime I can help just give me a call." Kara walked over to her and held her hands. Searching her eyes because her mind seemed to be in a different place. "Are you okay?" the Super asked, shaking the Luthor out of her thoughts.

"Yeah... I'm just getting used to being treated this way... in the manor, the closest thing I had to a parental figure was the maids that would clean my room, it was lonely and everything had to be scheduled. No one went out of their way for anyone, especially my parents, it was just one business trip after the next and Lex was always in his lab and the time we spent together was limited to silent games of chess. Living in that place can make you feel like if you breathe wrong you can ruin the leather... Being with you feels like I can breathe deeper and longer where I see everything differently because instead of being surrounded by leather I'm surrounded by love."
