Being married to my co-star wasn't one of the things I thought I would be. But I also never thought I could be this happy. Even as we sometimes work in different locations and our schedule don't coincide anymore, I still have the smiles and the wonderful feeling of being loved.
Today I woke up to a sticky note stuck on the pillow my husband uses next to mine. It read,
"Good morning, most handsome man in the world. Rise and shine. And oh, I love you!!! ❤️ "
I smiled, the inside of my stomach feeling the usual flutter. So adorable. I sat up, rubbed the sleepiness off my eyes and stretched with the note still in my hand. I got up and deposited the paper in my drawer by the side of the bed where I put the others. I then headed to the bathroom where I found another note in the mirror.
"Like my gift? I used that lipstick your sister gave and told me will look good on me. So I tried it on you.
Love you, hubby!
PS. I won't wear it outside the house or every man will turn gay on me.

I shook my head then stared at the mirror for the kiss he left on my cheek. I could already feel his lips on my skin. Ah, not good to be turned on right now when he's not here.
After my shower, I slipped on a robe and headed to the kitchen. I filled my lungs with the smell of freshly brewed coffee my husband set the timer of just in time for me to find it and make myself a cup. I found my mug on top of the white granite countertop next to the coffee maker. A note was stuck on the side of my mug.
"It's coffee o'clock, hubby!

I did enjoy my coffee, perfect amount of grounds and water. My baby knows me so well. I made myself breakfast with smile brought by the note from my mug. Even the cup has sweet etched words in it. "Best hubby in the world."
Filled with love, food, and coffee, I left the kitchen and went back to the bedroom and entered the closet. I chuckled finding my clothes all ready for me to wear for the day, a white v-neck t-shirt, black blazer, black boxers, white chinos and black Oxford shoes. I put them on with a smile on my face. There was another note by the giant mirror as I stood in front of it.
"Looking hot, aren't you?

With a phone, car keys, and wallet in my pockets, I walked out of the master's suite of our four bedroom apartment. One's a guest room, the other two are for our little ones when they arrive. We're adopting. As I approached the front door, I couldn't help but feel elated seeing another note.
