*Venus's Pov*
My name is Venus Jones. My sisters name is Jupiter and this is our story of falling in love with two aliens named Caine and Apollo and also how we found out we are reincarnations of royalty. Our mother met our father as he was in Russia looking at the stars at the Neva. One thing leads to another and they fell in love and soon our mother fell pregnant with me and my sister. I don't know much about our father but all we know is he died from a robbery in our parents old home. One night on a ship our mother pushed us out in a cargo box on most likely the Atlantic and I was born first then my sister. We are both Leo's and I was named after the planet Venus as my sister was named after the planet Jupiter. It's kinda weird but it's unique. We both hate our lives as we grew up because now being both 25 we clean toilets for a living and we basically clean houses for money. I woke up to a beeping and I sighed as my mother spoke.
"Jupiter! Venus! Get up" Mother said in Russian and she hit our feet.
I got up and we did what we do everyday. For the last week, we woke up and did our stuff. The next day we were at Katherine Dunlevy's house and we just finished cleaning her bathroom.
"Katherine, we're done" I said as we walked out.
"Jupiter, Venus help me" she said and held up two dresses.
"What's the occasion?" I asked and she looked at me.
"Austin Davis is taking me out to dinner and I think he's going to ask me to marry him" she said and I nodded.
"Do you want to marry him?" I asked and she shrugged as she ran around her room.
"Venus, Jupiter, he's the number eight richest bachelor under thirty in America. He speaks fluent Chinese and German, and he was an alternate on the olympic curling team" she said and I looked at her.
"It sounds totally... Cinderella, doesn't it?" She asked and I nodded.
"Sure" Jupiter said.
"Then why do I feel like I'm gonna throw up?" She asks as she sat down on the bed and I looked at Jupiter who nodded.
"I just don't remember Cinderella puking. Kind of remember her dancing with a bunch of mice" Jupiter said and I nodded.
"Have you ever... fallen in love, Jupiter, Venus?" She asked us.
"You know, our mom says that love is just a fairytale for little girls" I said and Jupiter added.
"You want our advice?" Jupiter asked and Katherine looked at us.
"Yes" she said.
"If he's really in love with you, then he'll understand that you're just overwhelmed and... and you need a little time" I said and she smiled.
"That makes sense. Now what do I wear?" She asked us and we got up.
"You need to show him what he's missing. Like that Red McQueen, or this Little Ricci" I said and went to her closet with Jupiter and as we looked we heard Katherine scream and I turned to see these aliens attack her and I took my phone out and snapped a picture but Mother called me and the aliens turned to us.
"Holy shit" I breathed out but I blacked out.
"Katherine? Everything all right?" I heard Austin Davis ask as I sat up looking around confused on what happened.
"Yeah, no, no. We're good. I'll be down in a sec" Katherine said as we stood up and then we went home and had dinner.
"Picked up a referral. A townhouse. But it has to be Wednesday" Mother said in Russian and Vassily looked up.
"English, please. We use English in this house" he said and I rolled my eyes.
He then started talking about money and I looked at Jupiter.
"Hey, cousin, speaking of money, I was wondering if..." I started but he cut me off.
"Oh, let me guess. Another advance. For what this time? Shoes? A new phone?" He asked me.
"We'll earn it back" Jupiter said.
"No, you mean you'll waste it trying to make yourself feel better by buying something you don't need" he said and I looked at him.
"So, what, instead of feeling better, we should save our money and feel worse?" I asked.
"Exactly. Now, your both smart girls, Jupiter and Venus. I admit it's none of my business, but that's probably the reason you are not married. Men do not like smart women" he said and then I got angry.
"You keep talking about my daughters like that, I will ram that latke so far up your ass, you won't crap for a week" Mother started in English but then went to Russian.
"English. Hey! Hey!" Vassily said and they stopped.
"Venus, Jupiter. What is the money for?" He asked us.
"No, you're right. It's nothing we need" I said and after dinner we went down to the basement as we looked at our Dad's telescope and necklace.
"Hey, what was that about? You're not having second thoughts, are you?" Vladie asked us.
"What if we are?" I asked him.
"Jupiter, Venus... These people, they're counting on you" he said and I held the pamphlet up.
"Have you even looked at this thing? Why do they have to use words like "harvesting"? It's just creepy" I said and Vladie ripped it out of my hand and crumpled it up.
"Why would you read this?
You heard what the doctor said. It's not a big deal. You go in, cash comes out. This money, I'm telling you, I have real plans, serious plans. I believe this money's gonna mean something... possibly life-changing for all of us" he said and we agreed.
