I recently got the night shift position at a bar, which happens to be my 3rd fulltime job. Im also going to veterinary schooling part time.
If you couldn't tell I don't have alot of time on my hands, but my best friend does. Unlike her, my parents dont pay for me anymore. Its not their job to, I'm 22 and can do it myself.
Sometimes its hard though , like I wanna go hang with friends and I wanna go out but I never have time too. She use to invite me to things like parties or movie nights but because I'm always working and had to tell her no she's basically stopped talking to me.
I miss her. I truly do. I miss when we would go for walks in the middle of the night or do something dumb and get caught then laughing out asses off later. I miss going on trips with her blaring our music and not caring. I miss taking cute pics with her.
I wish I still lived at home but I'm also on my way to my dream job. I'm so close and once i make it I quite all my other jobs and finally have time for her and my other friends.
Today is my first day off from all three of my jobs at once ever. I'm so excited. I get to see my friends.
*texting* to: River
Me: hey! I'm totally free today and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out I haven't seen you in forever

8:30 no reply
9:30 no reply
11:00 no reply
Hmm. I guess not. I guess I'll go take a shower.

Little does she know I've been watching her for weeks now. How dare she text that little worm before me. I've been her best friend since we were three years old. I am way more important than River. Riverside boring and lame. I know what (y/n) wants in a friendship. I've always been her favorite.
And I'll make sure River and (y/n) both know it.
