I woke up early and walked down stairs to the garage to grab the surf board. The sun was shinning, and It was about6am. I ha no experience surfing but how hard can it be? Stand up and float.
I grabbed the board under her arm and set it on top of the water. I let the waves slowly pull her in. I paddled a little bit further. on the horizon I saw a wave starting to form. I quickly paddled out to where it would just about crash. I felt like I was peddling for a long time, when I looked back I realized I was way to far out. Panic started to overwhelm me. The wave was getting closer and bigger. I paddled back but I slinky got half way around when I felt like I was being lifted, the board flipped out from under me, I felt myself being surrounded by water. The wave caught me underneath and I flipped around on the ground. By now I was having trouble breathing. "help" I screamed under the water,It sounded muted, next thing I knew, I was out cold.
Dylan's POV
I grabbed my surf board and walked from my house down to the beach. Shoot I thought to myself as I looked out. Waves were way to rough today. I was about to turn around to go inside when I saw my old neighbor Ryan's broken surf board floating on top of the waves. "how the he-" i stopped in my tracks. Ryan wasn't coming back, and even if he did he wouldnt use that board. I jumped into the water and sprinted out to where the board was. Someone was in trouble. I felt it. I dove under a wave and started feeling around. After a few seconds I felt something soft almost like yarn. It was someone's hair. I didn't know what to do, but I ducked under the water again and scooped up the limp body. Ducking under some more waves I made it to the shore line. I set the body on the floor. It was a girl, she was beautiful. I ran to my house and grabbed my phone. I dialed 911.
"help someone I found a girl this morning, I don't know If she's dead or, well I think she was drowning."
I stuttered stating down at her, she had blonde hair, wet now surrounding her shoulders her eyes were shut.
"relax we'll be right there" the man said "where are you now"
"512 buenevasa beach house, I'm sitting on the beach now though please come quick."
