Tuesday, 12:53. 7 minutes till dying time.

"Can I go to the main lobby and talk to some families?" I asked the nearest nurse.

"Whatever mystery kid," she said as she popped her gum.

I did go down to the lobby, that wasn't a lie, I also went to the park right under the big oak trees with their red and yellow leaves. The leaves fell oh so gracefully and with such ease. 12:59. I got comfortable for the last. The last leaf falling, my last dying. For in order for my survival, I needed to be hooked up to 7 machines that weren't on me right now. 1:00 I sat and felt everything stop, the world stop turning, my heart stop, my parents stop having a daughter, myself stop caring. I blinked once and saw the last important thing: peace.
