The New Vale Republic. A country built from the ashes of the Great War that struck Remnant, its previous presidents believed in equality for both Humans and Faunus and to not be dependent on the protection of the Atlas Military as the Atlas Military is seen as weak and dependent on robots and so The New Vale Republic became both the first Republic on Remnant and the first major Military power to rise against Atlas which Atlas didn't take kindly too and the two have been rivals since then.

Branches of the New Vale Republic Military-
The New Vale Republic Navy: The Naval branch of the New Vale Republic with most of its ships being World War 1 and World War 2 warships and a handful of modern warships.
The New Vale Republic Army: The Army branch for the New Vale Republic, the soldiers are well trained and disciplined and can take on anything with the army being made of both Humans and Faunus. Uniform:

The New Vale Republic Air Force: The Air force of the New Vale Republic, it's pilots are well trained and can handle high-G maneuvers, it's aircraft are mostly Modern fighter jets and and a handful of propeller craft
The New Vale Republic Marine Corp: You already know the gist of it
The New Vale Republic isn't actually a republic as it's still apart of the council and HQ for the NVR military is within the City of Vale and is an Target for the White Fang and the fact that Ironwood is willing to use any chance he can to take out the New Vale Republic even during an Major Grimm invasion
The New Vale Republic Special Forces Unit: The NVR only has 3 fully fledged and publicly known Spec Ops Units, with the 3 publicly known and fully fledged being known as 'The Ghosts', 'Reapers' and 'Revelation', there's one Spec Ops unit that's not known to the public called 'The Revenant' this Spec Ops unit is kept a secret from the public and are usually sent on recon or high priority assassination missions.
