Eight a.m. And I was already in a bad mood, I stayed up all night studying for a test I knew for sure I was going to fail, math is not my strong suit, but I wanted at least a C, "ugh...I don't want to go to college today" I said under my breath, I got up from bed and stretched with some of my bones popping in the process, my small studio apartment was comfortable and I didn't want to leave it's comfort, my apartment was pretty small, with a small stove, a fridge, the sink, a small area for a living room, where a small one person couch was, (Yeah I don't have many friends.) my xbox, and my tv. The biggest thing in the house was my bed, my wonderful bed, king sized and all mine, with two pillows and a checkered fluffy sheet. I had about thirty minutes to make it to college and I knew I was going to be late, I brushed my teeth in a hurry, looked at myself in the mirror, my dark brown eyes had red rims around them and I looked like shit, I moved my medium length hair from out of my face and slashed water on my face, it stung my eyes but refreshed my face, I got dressed quickly, a black "the cranberries" tee shirt, dark blue jeans, and my black converse. " I guess I'm skipping breakfast again" I say as I take my keys and rush out the door, locking it behind me, I lived on the third floor, and took the stairs the the parking lot, as soon as I opened the door I was blasted with cold air, forgot it was almost November already, good thing I have a coat in the car, I practically ran as goosebumps started forming on my arms. "Fuck fuck fuck..." I said as I fumbled with the keys and opened the door, getting my blood red colored hoodie from the back and sliding it on. "Ah...warmth.." I said as I turned on my mustang from the year 2000 and turned on the heater, I drove down the ramp and took a look at the traffic. "Why the fuck do I even own a car if it's always like this" a complete standstill, horns honking and and police sirens whaling, it's a little more hectic today, and I probably wasn't going to get to college anytime soon, I put the seat back a little and turned on the radio, connecting my phone to the aux cable, and putting on "linger" by the cranberries, you would swear by my playlist I was in love, but I was more alone then the one sock you have when you lose the other magically in the dryer. "It's going to be a long day" I said to myself as I shut my eyes for a moment, stuck in traffic.
