In Cold Blood (countryhumans)

3- Investigation.

The V4 didn't take the news well either. Czech was downing beer bottles with Slovakia, while Hungary sat there on the couch. No movement at all. He sat there and stared at the TV, that was off. He stared at it, the only movement being his eyes blinking. America, Canada and Ukraine came in. They looked at the three boys in empathy. America sat himself next to Hungary, Ukraine and Canada sat by the other two, trying to make them stop drinking for a moment.
- Hungary. Pal.. Look at me.- America spoke. Hungary slightly shook his head.
- Hun. Please.. We're here for a reason.- America said. Hungary finally looked at America.
- Why? Why are you here, huh?- Hungary asked, no emotion in his voice at all.
- We're here to help you. You aren't going through this alone. We want you to know this. - America spoke again. Hungary just nodded.
- Who did this? Did you find him? Did you find the bastard that killed my brother?!- Hungary raised his voice. America just sighed.
- We're working on it, pal. We're working on it.- America responded. Hungary nodded again, looking America in the eyes. It was a rare occasion to see him without his glasses. Very rare. The trio decided to head out and hang out, to lift their spirits, just a bit. Russia texted them saying him and Germany could tag along too. They would do anything just to make them feel a little better, and move on, just a little quicker.

At EUs office

EU was talking to a few people about the situation. France, UK, Portugal and Spain. They sat with EU and talked about the situation, and what had happened.
- Who had worse relations with Pologne than anyone else?- France questioned.
- I heard Lithuania and Poland were having some conflict- UK responded.
- Oh? What sort of conflict?- EU questioned, as he was not notified of this.
- Family matters. Something relating to the commonwealth. I cannot remember. - UK again responded.
- Do you think Lithuania would want to outshine her brother?- Portugal asked.
- They did have kind of an "Golden Child" style dynamic..- France said, with worry in her voice.
- Polonia was the "Golden Child" I assume?- Spain frowned.
- Oui. He was.- France confirmed. EU looked at the 4 countries discussing this. He had called Lithuania into his office. Lithuania arrived in 25 minutes from her house. Visibly confused.
- Y-You wanted me.. sir?- She said nervously.
- Yes. What do you know of your brothers current living status?- EU asked, to see if she was notified of the murder.
- I don't know, sir. Last time I spoke to him was after a serious argument we had, and I haven't heard of him in a month.- she replied.
- So you are not aware of his murder?- EU looked at Lithuania sternly.
- His what?!- Lithuania looked baffled
- He was found last night, stabbed to death- EU sighed.
- O-Oh my God.. - Lithuania shook.
- This might sound fake, but I promise from the bottom of my heart, it wasn't me, sir! I had no idea! - She cried out.
- Okay. Do you know who could have done it?- EU said, trying to calm down the smaller female.
- Ukraine maybe..- She muttered.
- Okay. Thank you.. - EU said, dismissing her. Lithuania left quickly. EU looked at his papers and mumbled.
- Ukraine? Why Ukraine?- He said to himself.
- That was odd. Why would Ukraine do this?- France asked.
- Maybe we could question him?- UK suggested. So EU called Ukraine to his office. He arrived in 10 minutes.
- Ukraine. I was notified, that you might have something to do with the murder? I know you were with the search party. What were you doing earlier that day? When he went missing?- EU asked.
- M-Me?! No, No, No! I was hanging out with Canada..- Ukraine insisted.
- Canada. Right..- EU thought out loud.
-America did mention something about Canada when they told me the whole story. I apologize for pulling you away like this. Have a good day..- EU huffed lightly. Ukraine left, just as quickly as Lithuania. EU was troubled, but said that the case will stay open. Right now they had to focus on the other countries, and their development.

Sorry that this chapter is shorter than the other two ;^; I have so many ideas and I want the action to start up, but I also want to take my time, and move slowly, so you can start guessing and speculating. There's already a ton of hints, so I will not be giving you any >:) You can comment on who you think the murderer is, I will read them- Anywho, Hope you enjoy these- Also I might start another book too, more lighthearted (GerPol and Rusame book- one book, and maybe a separate AmePol story since that ship is Lowkey Highkey cuTe) so yEaH- Have funn суки-
