LE CHAPTER 1
“It’s time to get up in the morning, in the morning, in the morning. Got McDonalds breakfast for you. Just for you, or any other brand! We drove two miles to get it. So you better get up and eat it. You don’t wanna be a selfish lazy, crazy boy Harry. So we gotta get up!” My phone started ringing just as I was dreaming nicely. Fuck you phone. Of course it’s summer and where do have to go? I have to go camping.
My mom owns a huge camp over in hawking hills, Ohio. It’s just a bunch of rubbish. I mean sure it’s really nice and well-built but I don’t like camping. There are always too many bugs and shit. Since my mom built it when I was 10 I went every summer, wasting away as we did the same things. And apparently this year is no exception. I just started college not too long ago. My best friend Kailee Renee Missler and I share an apartment together close to the college where we all attend. This year I want to take them to camp with me, so at least I'll have some entertainment the whole time we are there.
My friends and I are going to be counselors at the camp which should be interesting. According to my mother we are going to have some extra special people join us as well. I'm sure they aren't that special, they can't be if they want to waste another month and a half outside in the bugs and damp air.
I sat up in bed and looked over at the alarm. 6 a.m. Waking up this early should be considered a crime or something. Not like I had a choice though. I grabbed my phone and dialed both Kailee’s number. She picked up after two rings and let out a groan. “Dude what the hell? I am not even remotely ready for anything, give me five more minutes.” She sounds groggy. I’m surprised she could form actual sentences.
I stifled a laugh and sat up a little more in bed. It takes a few hours to get there. Plus my mom wants to go out for breakfast so we can meet the people that are helping us. So get your white ass dressed and let’s get shit started.” I said more awake now. My blood is pumping so let’s do this. “Okay see you in ten, hoe.” She laughs hanging up.
I wonder who is joining us this summer. I hope they are amazing, because I don’t want to have to deal with immature people all summer even though I am one myself. I don’t need more of me around. My phone starts blaring again signaling I have about 7 minutes so I rush myself to my bathroom, strip down, turn on the water and hop inside.
After my wonderful shower I jump out and get dressed in my favorite pair of black skinny jeans and my A Day To Remember shirt. I cover my face with a light amount of make-up and get my converse on. I am a mother fuckin superstar.
I hear my apartment door open and see a very up and ready Kailee. “Let’s get it started in here. Let’s get it started in ha!” I smack her arm as she dances in my living room. “You know I hate that song, yet you sing it all the fucking time.” I say in an annoyed tone. I hear her chuckle. “Unlike you I listen to different types of music. You listen to the same shit over and over again. Like A Day to Remember.”
“Kailee, I listen to One Direction because of you. What more do you need?” I tried to keep a straight face but it just turns into a snorting fit. “Okay babes it’s time to go before you kill your voice box with your snorting.” You can’t do that.. Can you? I don’t know and I don’t care. We both grab our overly stuffed bags and head out to my car. It’s a Honda Civic. Big enough to get me and Kailee where we need to go and last the whole summer, hopefully.
We finish packing the car and then get in. We finally make our way to Bob Evans and walk inside looking for my mom. “Oh dear I’m over here!” I hear someone yell from behind me. I turn and see my mom waving from a back room away from everyone else. What is that woman hiding? I give Kailee a look and we walk over together. My mom greets us both with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. “Morning mom. Missed you.” I say letting go of her. “Nice to see you Mrs. Ackles.” Kailee says.
She leads us into the back room, telling us important information. “Okay so I brought us here because we need to keep a low profile for some of the people coming to help with the camp. There are seven boys and four other girls. Now are you ready to meet them? Let me tell you they are very excited to meet you two.” She smiled back at us as we walked into a party room. “Let’s close our eyes Kai. Then open on three. Okay?” I asked. She nodded and we closed our eyes.
We entered the room more and heard lots of chatter. “One, two, three.” We said in sync. We opened our eyes and there before us… Sat One freaking Direction. I stood in awe while Kailee’s face went deep red, as she was wearing a One Direction shirt. I got closer to her and whispered in her ear. “Dude, you see One Direction too right? I’m not just crazy?” I looked at her and laughed. She was tearing up.
Those boys changed her life. Kailee and I became friends when she was at the hospital. We were both emitted the same day. My appendix burst and she had been left by her parents because she had anorexia. When I was awake I walked around for a while and she came up to me, hoping to make a friend. I happily obliged because no one should be alone. No one deserves to go through that alone. So my mom let her stay with us and the court said my mom could be her legal guardian until she hit 18 a year later.
“Pinch me Ellisa.” Kailee said not looking away from the boys, who were now getting up from the table. I tried to keep from screaming as the boys came up. “Hi loves, I’m Harold, call me Harry. This is Liam, Niall, Louis, Zayn, Marius call him Maz and that is Andy.” He pointed to all the boys standing up. Ovaries, prepare to die. All I could do was smile as I stared at their lovely faces.
They are going to spend 2 and ½ months with Kailee and I, what more could a girl ask for? "Hi I'm Ellisa and this is Kailee." I said motioning to Kailee who was practically drooling over Liam. Is it hot in here? It must just be the 7 boys standing before me. It's normal.
The girls stood too and they came over giving us hugs. "Hello I'm Sierra Nicole Gilman. It's nice to meet you. This is Raven, Caitlin and Jenna." I looked at all the girls. Sierra has dirty blonde hair and he prettiest blue eyes. I looked at the other girls a bit taking them in. Fuck, why can't I be pretty? Son of a bitch.
I caught a glimpse of Niall as we all sat down to eat. He was staring at me. It was getting awkward so I kicked him under the table. "Ouch." Harry said. Oopps wrong person. Oh well.
Maybe this summer will be different. "So are we all going to be camp counselors?" Sierra said taking a drink of her pop. " Well we have to be 19 and since Harry is only 18 he has to be a camper." I said looking at Harry. He looked a bt down. "Sorry bud. But the bright side is you get to hang with us." I explained to him.
He gave me a smile and we ate our food.
Damn it Niall quit with the staring. I looked at Sierra as she noticed what was going on. She winked at me and mouthed "We gotta talk."
Oh Jeez.
