Mental Scare

Aria's POV

I woke up feeling calm for the first time in a long time I felt my pillow rise and sink beneath me as I cuddled closer. Then I heard a chuckle. WAIT! pillows don't chuckle.

I slowly looked up and meet deep emerald eyes. I could feel the blood rush to my cheek as I looked down.

"Don't hide your face from me mi amour you look cute when you blush." He said to me.

After they got out of bed

BOOM!

I starred at Adriano who was playing with my hair as I lied my head in his lap.

We rushed to the living room. We were everyone holding guns and some men that looked like they were from Hoax gang.

Mom and dad were in front of them aiming their guns at them.

"Guys get out of here we'll handle them," Mom yelled at us as she threw me her necklace that grandma gave her. That was the last thing she said before she was shot in the neck.

"MOM." Ace yelled as I fell to the floor in shock.

"Boys get them out of here," Dad said then Adriano grabbed me and jumped in the van waiting outside everyone went in and they were about to drive off.

"Wait we have to wait for Dad," I said trying to go back. I got to the door just to see dad shot in the head.

When they arrived at the safe house

All the way to the safe house the only thing on my mind was how did it happen so fast. One minute they were happy and laughing the next their dead.

"Why does this always happen to me?" I asked.

Adriano's POV

"Why does this always happen to me?" I heard her ask as I placed her on the bed in her new room.

"It's not your fault," I said to her as I ran my fingers threw her hair as her head was in my lap.

"Yes it is, I finally get to meet my parents feel a mothers love just to watch as it gets taken away from me." She whispered and cried.

It pained me to see her like this. She under no circumstance deserved this.

"Don't worry I'll always be here for you mi amour," I said as she drifted asleep.
