This is Real

Chapter 2

   Amilea tapped her pen against the edge of desk, all she wanted to hear was the lunch bell. Her English teacher, Mr. O'Neal, assigned extra homework because a lot of the students have been doing well. YAY.
   Amilea sighed and then looked at the clock, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2- the bell rang and everyone got up.

    Tommy hollered in the hallway,
      "Ami!" He ran up and tackled me from behind,
   "What?!" She said giggling,
   "Prom's coming up." He said smiling,
   "No." She said, "You know I'm not going,"
   "C'mon! As friends." He said smiling,
   "No, Tommy!
   "Think about it." He said quickly,
   "Tommy, I'm GAY."
   "As. friends." He said smiling,
   "I'll think about it." I said with a smile,
   "That's good enough for me."
   "Dude, you could literally have any girl you wanted. Why do you not have a girlfriend?"
   "I dunno." He said. "Cant find the right girl?"
   "Oh sure." They reached the cafeteria doors and she saw Tanya,
   "Hey!"
   "Hey, Amilea! I didnt know where to sit so I just waited outside." She chuckled and Amilea did too,
   "Thats fine, follow me." She said smiling.

      Once they got thier food they all sat down at the table farthest away from people,

   "So Tanya, this is Tommy." Amilea said before taking a bite of food. He cleared his throat,
   "More properly known as..." He gestured for Amilea to continue. She pretended to think,
   "I think I covered everything." She said. He dramatically sighed but Tanya interrupted,
   "Lemme guess. He's your boyfriend?" She said softly,
   "What?" They both said at the same time,
   "What?" She asked, her dark brown eyes look into Amilea's making Amilea suddenly stop breathing. After a moment she takes a breath,
   "He's my best friend."
   "Oh! I just thought. Cause ya know." Amilea chuckled,
   "Cause...?"
   "The hallway tackle I guess." Shs said with a giggle,
   "I asksd her to prom. Shs turned me down cause shes gay." He said with his mouthful of food,
   "Tommy!" Amilea whisper yelled as she slapped his arm,
   "What?! Its obvious." He chuckled. Amilea looked down embarrassed but blushing and smiling at the same time, for some reason,
   "Hey," Tanya put her hand over Amilea's and smiled,
   "I'm Bi." They both smiled and Tommy glanced down and chuckled,
   "Don't go gay on me now, Ami." He said smiling. Amilea smiled with her hand under her chin and gazed at Tanya, "Oop, to late." He chuckled as Ami rolled her eyes.
