The cold air chilled me to the bone as I stepped over rocks and fallen trees. My hunting bow was at my side, staying stiffly next to me as I looked around for my prey. I turned my head to the left allowing my acid green eyes to scan the area as my brunette hair brushed behind me against my bag of arrows. I stepped forward looking through the fog of my own visible breath to look behind a bush.

The brush moved only slightly as a beautiful white-tail doe stepped out from underneath it. A smile stretched across my cold lips as I rose my bow and took out an arrow. I took a deep breathe calming myself and clearing my mind to take the shot. The deer quickly brought up its head to look around. I let go of the arrow and let it fly straight towards the deer.

A loud thud sounded as the arrow hit the deer in the heart killing it instantly. I licked my cracked lips as my visible breath passed through them. I walked over to the deer to pick it up and take back to camp.

About 5 years ago the Earth was hit with a terrible disease and then all hell broke loose on our water planet. The disease known as Exholia hit the human race harder than expected killing off more than three fourths of the population on the Earth.

The disease started off with sudden coughing and sneezing. Then it went directly into chills, vomiting, internal bleeding, and sudden phobias. Then finally after 5 days after the beginning of the symptoms the host died.

At first we didn't know what it was, we kept thinking it was terrorists or accidents, but as we began recognizing the symptoms we began to realize that it was a sickness not our other guesses.

The Earth began to go into a state of global cooling. Everything turned colder than the poles up north and down south. That's when we started turning on each other.

I live alone in Texas in a small cottage near a lake. It's the perfect place to hunt and the cold isn't as bad as the other states. It is near the equator.

I grunted as I dragged the doe towards the cottage door. I placed the dead doe down and opened the door to the cottage. I growled as I dragged the doe inside and closed the door tightly shut.

"Another one in the bag," I whispered to myself as I pulled my black jacket off.

I placed the jacket on the wooden chair I had in the kitchen as I walked towards the large fridge I had. I pulled the deer inside so I could skin it later.

I sighed as I set myself on to the couch in the living room. Another days work done. My eye sight slowly faded to black as I began to fall asleep. CRASH!
