Mike furrowed his brows as he rolled out of bed. He forgot that it was his first day of high school. He wasn't sure if he was ready for this, especially since El moved away with Will.

Mike frowned and looked down, he then realized how much he was going to miss them.

He sighed and soon shook his head, at least he still had the others. He still had people that he knew he could trust.

After fighting the Mind Flayer and finding out about the Russians, he just wished it could all go back to normal.

He ended up getting dressed and packing up his backpack with his new notebooks and folders.

Mike then went downstairs and sat at the table with Nancy and his mom. Nancy was just getting ready to leave for college, making Mike even more sad.

Mike sighed and looked down at his cereal. He frowned and pursed his lips, "Mom?"

Karen looked up from her book and took off her reading glasses.

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, "I need some advice."

Karen nodded and looked over at him, "Alright, what's on your mind?"

Mike soon opened his eyes to look at her, "Should I just, forget about Eleven? I mean, I don't see any way I can make our relationship work. I love her so much, but I don't think I can do long distance." He frowned, "The last thing I want is to hurt her."

She took a deep breath and looked at him, "Honestly, do what you think is best." She smiled a bit, "I would let her go, but you do what you think is best." She nodded a bit.

He nodded and took a deep breath, "Alright mom, thank you." He smiled and finished eating.

He got up and put on his converse and grabbed his backpack. He was just a tad bit excited for school.

Mike then thought this year was going to be so much better.

(Y/n) gasped as she was brought out of the sensory deprivation tank. She closed her eyes and started to sob.

They had always done horrible things like this, awful experiments and such.

She felt like she was veiwed as nothing more than a weapon they could use to their advantage.

She fell on her knees and held her head, visions of the Russian base in her mind. She cried out as she thought about the thing they had caged up in the prison.

They fed it prisoners. Even if they didn't deserve it, they were fed to the monster. She had the images of the torn up prisoners in her mind.

The blood, the guts, and the organs made her want to vomit. That was something she didn't want to see.

She shook her head and screamed out. She didn't want this. She wanted to be out. She wanted to find love.

With Alexei gone, she had nobody else to talk to. He was the only scientist that would talk to her and make her feel like an actual person.

She looked up as a scientist by the name of Ivan looked down at her.

He let out a low growl and got close to her face, "Заткнись."

She nodded and sniffled, wiping her eyes, "Простите, сэр." She didn't want them to take her back and beat her like they would always do.

Ivan picked her up off the ground, "А теперь, иди и борись." He started leading her to a room.

She knew where she was going and she didn't want to. The flower-faced monster was always waiting for her. She was always forced to face it.

He led her infront of a door and looked down at her, "Не беспокойся об этом монстре." He chuckled softly, "Это съест тебя." He laughed.
